We haven't seen hide nor hair of Chipper this year, but this little guy/gal has been coming around instead. After being somewhat coy for a few weeks, "little dude" started eating out of my hand this past Wednesday and let me pet him/her a little bit.
Today was the first day I took a few photos and it didn't bother the little dude at all, so I'm sure some props will be next.
I took my dad the the veterinarian Wednesday night... let me rephrase that. I took my dad and his dog to the veterinarian Wednesday night, saw a pink, Barbie SUV and immediately thought of a chipmunk photo op.
In the mean time, we are trying to think of a name. Any ideas? Oh... and is there an easy way to tell if this is a male or female besides the obvious? So far, these are the only nuts I've been able to see. ;~)

I got in to see the dental surgeon this morning - and after some filing off bits here and there and a few adjustments the new teeth fit much better - and I have some effective pain killers too - so I am now hoping I can be pain free, eat some food, get some sleep and feel a whole lot better. My BP might return to normal too.

Four 20cm x 20 cm x 20 cm triangle canvases.
When I got these triangle canvases, the first thing that came to mind was the capstone of the pyramid with the all seeing eye.
But more so, these are inspired by all the controversy and conspiracy theories surrounding Bomits sticker artist of the year contest. Even “the sticker illuminati” were mentioned. Some great and entertaining stuff ;)
So I’ve put one and one together and painted these.

I painted this little Skully some time ago and I’m kind of embarrassed to upload it. But, what the hell right? I’m starting to think that painting toys is not for me. I actually have zero patience with these kind of things. I always start out very careful, taping off areas to make it look tight. But after some time I just lose it and start free handing and rushing it. Hence it came out looking like it did haha. I really wonder how it’s possible that I can literally work hours on a little area of a canvas without getting bored and that DIY toys just force me to rush the process…..
Oh well, on to the next “project” :)

Damn title length restriction...
It has taken quite a while until my Flickr stream reached 250.000 views (taking into account that after only one year the first 100.000 hits hit). Back then I generated a quite complicated composite just to show off those views. I wanted to keep on this tradition but as for any sequel everything needs to be more bombastic. So were last time seven layers were enough, this time it had to be nineteen and of course the budget even allowed to cast celebrities like Spock and Wall-E. (Please no pointing out that nevertheless the first one is nearly always better than the sequel...) Go here for the 100.000 views picture and please watch this one large as well so that it at least made sense to fiddle around with all those complicated pathes for days.
