Acrylics on a 60 cm x 80 cm canvas.
I finally finished my first commissioned piece. I call this; ‘Boobies buy beers’
The person who bought my ‘After party is at my place!’ canvas wanted a matching canvas with my female character Ms Cisanda. So here it is.
I’m quite pleased with how ‘happy’ it turned out.
As always, that’s sexy old me holding it for scale reference ;)
Thanks for checking it out :)

One more time, I'm promoting my old survival strategy: wave to an imaginary friend! If you've got an aggressive pick-up truck or SUV approaching, and there are plausible households along the road you are riding, look up and wave and nod your head as if you are greeting a neighbor! Then watch the passing vehicle go to the opposite berm while it passes you. This is because, in their mind, somebody is watching!
This does not work when you are surrounded by corn fields and or the woods of northern Maine, but the ploy can be quite handy in the well populated rural areas.
I did this 3 times in a 2 minute stretch today and it worked every time.
A mash up of the Decepticons logo and my Dion Valtazar character.
Just made this for fun and I’m not too sure what to make of it now that it’s done. I sort of, kind of like it, but I don’t really feel the accomplishment of completing a piece fully base on my own intellectual property.
What are your thoughts on drawing existing pop culture stuff?
Imaginary Friend (a.k.a. Jesse Epstein) performing live at 5 Towers on Universal CityWalk in Universal City CA on November 30th, 2013. Part of the "Holidays at CityWalk" series of concerts. Jesse opened for Kina Grannis (his wife).
New canvases that I made for the Dutch Streets Fair in Amsterdam last weekend.
Acrylics on a 20cm round canvas.
Some quick cardboards. Acrylic paint and acrylic markers.
Not sure what to do with these. Put them up on the street or sale them for cheap? Might take them with me to the Colosseum Festival in Rotterdam this Saturday.

Going corporate stenciled logos. Acrylics and spray paint on 40cm x 30cm canvases.
There’s a dirty drip version of this as well, but I forgot to take a photo of it and it’s not in my passion anymore.

Instead of spending money you don't have out in the village, why not spend your weekend following the escapade of a group of queer women on their night out in the gay village? Featuring drunken pep talks, a cat fight in the toilets, and a feverish search for Lindy’s friends (who might or might not be imaginary).

The Imaginary Friends were very surprised to receive an invitation from Dave in the post some days ago. He wrote 'Dear Imaginarys, could you come visit Downing Street to endorse the Tory campaign? I think the kids would like it and I am your biggest fan. Totally. Love you more than Villa. Peace out'. After the innitial shock Nun, Prince Charming, Frog, Tubby Fireman, Billy Piper, Dylan, Dougal, Paddington, Princess Leia and Little Pink thought long and hard about the offer. And then decided to use the Mega Bus tickets Dave had enclosed to travel down and give him a message he wouldn"t forget. That's right Dave. The Imaginary Friends may well be imaginary but they see the real world misery you make everyday. So they say 'Cut The Crap Dave!'.

While the “Van de Straat”-expo is already well underway, I’ll try to play catch up with a bit of “coverage”.
These are four more mini canvases (10cm x 10cm) which I prepared for the expo.
The bottom two were sold during the opening night. (A big “thank you” to the buyers :))

Yes, the new Crimson Cisa design is here. I give you Koshchey Bessmertny (Koshchey the Deathless). I was inspired to make this by my never-ending love for Darth Maul. After the first sketch it started to look like war paint to me, and I started looking at some Chinese masks and dragons. So in the end I mixed all of that up and this is the end result. I thought long and hard about doing it in black and white but decided to add some color to it for the sticker design. A monotone version will be used for something else and it rimes with fee-hurt ;)
As always, I’m curious to what you guys think of it, so feel free to love, hate or discuss ^_^
Since Sassparilla is such a dick, Mars has taken to making imaginary friends.
Here she is with Roberto. We're not sure why he actually shows up in pictures, but it's pretty neat. He even has a shadow!

LOL...I love this shirt. Although, I have to say, my son has never had an imaginary friend. He is way too analytical to have an imaginary friend. My daughter on the other hand, she has an imaginary friend that is as real as a human. This imaginary friend goes everywhere we go and has a place at the dinner table. It is quite interesting...
