Once again, big thank you to Model Georgia Stanwix by Cathleen Tarawhiti
A progression of the last upload 'The last of his kind'. The white tiger cub has grown up and must find his way to safer lands.
Have chopped up a couple of my Dartmoor pics and spliced them together to create a much wider panoramic image for my subjects to inhabit this time. So add to that a shot of Georgia Stanwix by Cathleen Tarawhiti and a CGI white tiger with about 7hrs of photoshopping later, here it all is :)
Bloody hell, I love composites!!

Chris and Yann from the Bonneville Barons make their return in a sort of film-noireseque, but hopefully, cool image. Honestly couldn't tell you what it means. Just a snapshot from my brain put down in pixels.
Here's the before and after comparison.

This image is for Izzy, my cat.
My cat thinks she's a Yogi....
She's a wonderful companion who teaches me many lessons about life.. Although she's an animal spirit in this incarnation, I do believe she has mystical powers.. She does her version of yoga at the same time I do my yoga practice.. I try to mimic some of her yoga poses.. (giggle, wink)

A narrow boardwalk crosses the broad salt marsh adjacent to Gray's Beach in Yarmouth Port, where Chase Gardens Creek and Clay's Creek come together at the Bass Hole, whence they flow into Cape Cod Bay. Here you can enjoy the rich and diverse estuary life without disturbing the natural habitats, or getting mud on your shoes. The boardwalk is closed in winter, and a bed of straw laid down to provide additional cover for birds that winter over here.

E se vai all'Hotel Supramonte e guardi il cielo
tu vedrai una donna in fiamme e un uomo solo
e una lettera vera di notte falsa di giorno
poi scuse accuse e scuse senza ritorno
e ora viaggi vivi ridi o sei perduta

99 dreams I have had
In every one a red balloon
It's all over and I'm standin' pretty In the dust that was a city
If I could find a souvenir
Just to prove the world was here...
And here it is, a red balloon
I think of you and let it go.

Model by Faestock
The background was shot at Haytor Rocks on the eastern edge of Dartmoor (just 24 hours prior to this upload). Definitely had a 'Wuthering Heights' feel to it.
I was looking for a good subject to put in the scene and after using stock for 'Dreaming of sunlight' and 'The sunlight was real' - Jessica at Faestock had just the image I needed :)
The composite was achieved in the usual way. Subject on grey background (although had to be greatly lightened on this subject) with a masked, 'overlay' blended background on the layer above. Photo filters add overall colour balance and a couple of brushes for light effects and birds.
Oh, and the placement of the model was dictated by the fact that directly behind her is a car park :)
Our son Greg just called to let me know that, as a part of an art exhibit he had organized in one of the office buildings he manages in San Francisco, he raffled off a framed 16x20 print of this image, and it netted three 55-gallon drums full of toys, which will be distributed to kids who might not otherwise get any toys for Christmas. Each person had to contribute a toy to enter the raffle. That makes me even happier than the kids who will be getting those toys this Christmas.
I first posted this image nearly three years ago, and it's been one of the most viewed images I've ever posted to Flickr. I decided to post it again because I wanted to tell everyone about the raffle, especially since it is going to make a bunch of kids a bit happier this Christmas. This is a composite of two images: I photographed the egret against a gray mud flat in the Corte Madera, CA marsh and, since the egret was strongly back lit, it was a perfect candidate for placement against this brilliant sunrise.
