The two resident robins perched together again today on the Forsythia plant :-)
Digital painting, watercolour effect.
I was inspired by Gary Waterhouse's (www.flickr.com/photos/gary-waterhouse/) image on Flickr EXPLORE (www.flickr.com/photos/gary-waterhouse/49719057933/). So I decided to watch the video on how to make these images. Here is a YouTube video link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8T3_Ew0wqU&feature=youtu.be
An incidental, opportunistic, shot taken of a mall atrium ceiling/roof while sipping a cup of coffee at a nearby coffee shop!
Image composite. Smoke, fog, color grading by BorisFX Optics.
I also added the puddles and reflections, as well as the rain.
Meditation is the foundation...
I learned basic meditation techniques when I was 12 years of age. Over the years my practice has been my ROCK, my grounding force.. my second sight..
What do you see when you close your eyes?
Who do you reveal when you take off the mask?
When do you ever have time to see things as they truly are?
Where is your truth?
How will you ever find peace if your mind's eye leads you astray?
"Why".. it's not the question, it's the answer...
Your path leads you to forget, and it guides you to remember..

About
Holomorphic transform ( original picture down below ).
I recently made some small but significant changes to my e-fxg program so that vectors pointing outside the original picture point to a 'wrapped around' copy of the same image ( just consider an endless amount of copies of the same image in all directions... ).
Effect applied : Holomorphic transform
The formula of the holomorphic transform :
Pixel defined by x,y :
Complex number z = x+iy;
z=z+ (a -bi ) / z;
New pixel value taken from 'pixel' :
x = real part of z
y = imaginary part of z
I can't recall what the acutal numbers where that I used for a and b, my memory is a
mess, I'd better start writing everything down.

Thank you Jessica at Faestock
My 300th upload to Flickr. I'm pretty happy with this comp. The light seems to work really well for a dramatic painterly feel. It was also an excuse to use another of my Dartmoor images. The horse is a CGI element and it's all brought together in photoshop in the usual way using Jessica's image as the base grey-screen image to build upon.

I softened the image of the moon with Topaz Labs Impression. I added a tree to (via a Photoshop Brush). I think the image has a magical quality.
The shape of these tree branches reaching out over the lake rather caught my eye... so I decided to have some fun with editing.
Happy Sliders Sunday!
A Textured photo. All photos shot by me and processed in PS. All are from nature ;) This is a composition, the concept is like people took variety of trees and composed them in a garden ;)
Textures from www.cgtextures.com/ . Or you can shoot by yourself on any surface that has texture that you like. I just wanna save time here :)
Comments and critics about the photo are welcomed (not about the photographer) , thanx so much and have great days ahead :)
