Steak Tartare. Fillet seasoned with whiskey jack daniels, purple onion, mini capers, pickled cucumber, English sauce, mustard, olive oil, tabasco and garlic, parsley and super creamy quail egg.

I just typed an entire description, and then Flickr didn't save it. -_- COOL.

ANYWAYYYYYY. I'm back :D

As most of you know, the reason I disappeared was because my computer died, and I couldn't upload or go on Flickr at all. :c But I'm back now! I got a new computer and I can promise you that from now on I'll be stalking all of your streams, every single day. ;)

As for my 365...I'm going to re-start. Once I get all my pictures downloaded and organized, I'm going to start taking photos every day for real, so I can start this project again. I think being set back has made me even more determined to finish this project, and to complete this task I've set for myself.

Thank you so much to everyone for all of the messages you've sent me, I've read all of them and they mean the world to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The idea that you could care so much about someone you've never met is absolutely mind-boggling. You are the most incredible group of people in the world, and I thank God every day for you. <3

Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops

What if Your healing comes through tears?

And what if a thousand sleepless nights

Are what it takes to know You’re near?

What if my greatest disappointments

Or the aching of this life

Is the revealing of a greater thirst

This world can’t satisfy?

And what if trials of this life

The rain, the storms, the hardest nights

Are Your mercies in disguise?

Oh, and this is Hanna's hair, and this is film, and sooc. (:

words of wisdom in a quiet lane in Cabbagetown

To my flickr friends:

Sorry for my lack of being here, commenting, everything. The past few months have been the longest days of my life. I was diagnosed with 4 different illnesses/diseases after months of feeling horribly not myself. And the same week of the diagnoses, I found out I was pregnant. Eek. Thankfully, some of my previous symptoms keeping me so down have diminished, and I am told they probably will be for the entire pregnancy. But I'm to expect them back once I have the baby :( I'm considered very high risk and I'm having to give myself shots in the tummy daily along with 5 other prescriptions I'm having to take. It's going to be a long haul, but I am very excited about this new little baby to be a part of our lives in 7 months. Obviously his/her big sister is very excited too (so is the big brother, but he didn't want a part of this picture!). My daughter, she has named the baby "Strawberry Shortcake" so we're calling him/her "Strawberry" :) Strawberry is thriving and at my last appointment we saw him/her moving. I go back every two weeks as I'm monitored very closely. I look very forward to sharing my growing tummy and this experience with you all. I have faith it's all going to be all right. :)

On Nov. 26, nine days after arriving back in CT, I decided to go for a walk with my camera. I was surprised to find some serious graffiti in this town where I grew up, and the little message in black seemed strangely appropriate.

Fuzzy decided earlier this evening that if any rioters come anywhere near our house, then they'll lose their ankles for starters.

After that, they'd still better try to run else they'll lose yet more apendages!

Seriously, I think he means it!

For the June MSH - I'm back!

Today I feel better...thnk GD, so be ready to be bitten again soon :-) .......

After a month off from flickr posting, I'm happy to say hello again!

This is a picture of one piece I completed over my brief hiatus.

I'll be posting photos regularly starting Monday. Have a great weekend!

My girlfriend and I's faces split to share one.

At least I think so still haven't gotten ''my ranges' right in my head yet.

I've come back to FLICKR!! And not only that- i'm a... ahemm... PRO again ... i've missed it here. I need to- and want to be inspired once again by all of you.... and thats why i decided to come back. but first- thanks cliff for the "petition" and stephen john bryde for signing it and reminding me thats its been 2 years since my last upload... how sad.

so lets have a cuppa before i dive into the good old hard drive and dig through 2 years worth of photography and find some oldies- but goodies...

and so- it begins...

Linguine with limone sauce (lemon sauce) and instead of grated cheese, a super tasty pistachio farofa (pistachios blended and mixed with parmesan, parsley, white pepper, olive oil and garlic). Great combination to replace the standard cheese on top of the pasta

Filet mignon with port wine emulsion with truffles and baked potatoes with clarified butter and black pepper.

A bit of a cliche I know, but I just couldn't resist! :)

Hi! I'm back (sort of) after a month or two absence of posting. Sorry about that guys... I've been so busy with school and my million extracurriculars that i have not taken any photos at all. I am ashamed at this artistic lull of mine. Please forgive me.

So it rained today. Like, torrential downpour rained. Lucky for me, there are few things I love more than rain. I spent most of my day blowing off homework and sitting on the windowsill at my back window, staring at the rain falling through the trees, and clinging to anything it could, like this rosebush. So the picture's a little foggy, but the reason I liked it was the pink rose that you could kinda make out. It's freaking cold out, and winter JUST ended. How is that rose still alive? I aspire to be the rose; that little bit of color peeking through from a neutral tone world.

So much has been happening since I've last posted. I got rejected by that agent who read the first three chapters of my book, I fought with one of my closest friends ever. I got romantically messed up, I failed a history quiz. I started writing yet another book, I made a documentary with an awesome group of people. My perception of someone did a total 180, and I reread Anna Karenina.

But I'm still me, and I'm still here, so don't forget about me! I hope to post more soon, and no more of these crap still life pics. Soon I'll have some extra time to set up some awesome portraits - I have a million ideas I can't wait to try out.

Cruise-control distressed her

kind of cursed and kind of blessed her

Did you come here to dance?

What's in your glass?

Do you feel better now?

Let it rain, let it pour..

Let It Rain, OK Go

CAMERA!!!!!!!!!! And I am so in love with it!

I'm back ladies and gentlemen! Although my risque days may over or at least tuned down. I'm tired of deleting nasty comments and having to block perves left and right! But hey that's not the point. The point is that I am back and have a brand new baby!!! Baby Nikon D40x SLR 2/1/08. 365/131

Oh and I promise to visit streams soon! I love you guys and your wonderful shots! Can't wait to see what ya'll have been up to during my absence.

This is my first in AGES since my unannounced hiatus.

A lot has just been going on and I thought getting a break from all of this would help me forget and move on. Apparently, it did. But only for the slightest bit of time. I spent hours thinking about how Flickr is going and stuff, cause I'm so emo like yeah. // wrists

Anyway, yes, 365° was on hiatus, and about two weeks is too much for me to try and catch up. I'll probably still post one a day, sometimes two, but I don't think I'll get to catch up with the original flow of 365°. So that means I will not be ending my 365 on the 31st of December as planned. Instead I will end 2 weeks later. That is, if I go on with it.

Life was sad without Flickr, though. No more looking forward to posting something new. I didn't feel the pressure though, no more thoughts like, "OMG 365 KO PANO NA?" I realized however, how much I enjoy doing my 365°, and that it has actually helped me express my feelings in photo-forms.

I'm sorry for being a lame Flickr friend, btw. I just went downhill for a while, but I've upped and now I'm ready to go. :) I am super glad, happy, and excited to be back. Again, sorry for the few who followed my 365, and did not have any clue while I was gone.

So that's it, I'm back from the grave; better watch out `cause to try and make up for my absence, I will do my best to wow all of you with my photos. :D

I love all of you >:D<

Ask me, talk to me, tell me anything.

I have been away from Flickr for so long... feels like months. I have been super busy with family, cooking, cleaning... you get the picture. I am back though and will be bringing it... it's game time!

I found this beauty on my lawn this morning..it made it through the rain and the thunderstorm, but was a little battered, I want to thank everyone for all of your views, faves and comments. I just hit 30,000. views! You guys are the best! It is so appreciated...thanks, again.

We dreamers have our ways

Of facing rainy days

And somehow we survive

We keep our feelings warm

Protect them from the storm

Until our time arrives

Then one day the sun appears

And we come shining through those lonely years...

I made it through the rain

and found myself respected by the others who....got rained on, too..

this is a columbine. I pass by this little patch of a garden which looks untended and every year these little columbines come up. Is this like the one you were talking about Jo? Will this be the year I ask if I can dig up a piece or trade for another color? I would love these to self seed all over my garden!

I went for a photowalk yesterday, a quick one, but it made me so happy even if it was raining and the wind had made everything look hidious, i rekindled my love with my camera and let off some stress :)

i played with my 50mm and its lush as always! hopefully ill be outabt more for a while, no exams for 2 weeks then i have 6 more to go!

I did not intend to create such a dark, gloomy portrait when I started processing, but I liked the results, so here it is!
