I hope you have a wonderful week!
Mientras sintamos que se alegra el alma
Sin que los labios rían;
Mientras se llora sin que el llanto acuda
A nublar la pupila;
Mientras el corazón y la cabeza
Batallando prosigan;
Mientras haya esperanzas y recuerdos,
¡Habrá poesía!

Saudade de todos!
estou de volta.
bjs e abraços
Tudo em mim
anda a mil
tudo assim
tudo por um fio
tudo feito
tudo estivesse no cio
tudo pisando macio
tudo psiu
tudo em minha volta
anda às tontas
como se as coisas

HUGS and KISSES to all of you!
instead of looking at life as a series of goodbyes, i need to get back to that long-held belief of mine that it is a book with enough blank pages for me to write on about new beginnings. for a long while i seem to have lost that ability to see through and beyond the maze and the haze. i hope you won't fault me for that. i am stepping out once again, to say "hello, world!", to try seeing it as i used to see it - filled with beauty and endless possibilities. the just gone-by days will not be forgotten, no matter how tearful they might have been. they have now become a part of who i am. and who i am is someone who has been blessed with your friendships. it has been such an invigorating feeling to realize that you all understood and that even in my arrested moments, so many of you were always there, ready to reach out in case i needed a comforting hand. for that i shall remain your ever grateful friend. and i don't use the word "friend" lightly - never did, never will.
although i have it within me the capacity to look back on the past without regrets, i choose to stay in the moment and look forward instead. and so starting today, i am counting the days till my next trip back to the Philippines - 336 days left to another magical adventure with wonderful friends/photographers - some i've met, some i have yet to meet.
i have also decided to do 52 weeks of "self" expression, this being the first. i believe that a lot of creative distractions are just what the "doctor" has ordered :)
first off let me say I'm incredibly sorry for not posting 3 months and even more for not posting lego in nearly a year.this is a little scene i pulled together today (sorry for potato quality)i have been learning german lately
It's good to be back.....
...missed you all so much!

My morning picture was nice but left me unfulfilled. Sometimes I feel like doing something different to get my blood flowing. This is a pedestrian crosswalk over I-430 near my office. I went over there at lunch to see if I could come up with a more interesting shot than this morning. As Jack Nicholson said in The Shining - "I'm Back!!"

...and I brought Peggy!"
☺
What:
Yep, you guessed it... Peggy & me back again!!
Where:
Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada
When:
During sunset last night.
About:
I am very sorry that I haven't been around here on Flickr but as many of you know I bought a house and have been quite busy renovating it (very slow going though).
I decided to get out of the house yesterday as it was gorgeous out! Actually we have had an amazing summer here. Anyway I grabbed my gear and headed to the ocean (as usual). Of course by the end of the day I ended up at Peggy's Cove and got lucky with a perfect sunset!
When I was leaving I ended up seeing a few folks from the photo club I know, they were meeting up with Terry for a long exposure workshop that he was putting on. I would have liked to stay for that but I had dinner plans and had to get back to the city. I hope everything went well guys and I look forward to seeing your work!

Guanajuato - This most beautiful, medieval town is Mexico’s oldest city. It was founded as a town in 1554 and received the designation as a city in 1741. It is located in one of the richest silver mining areas of Mexico, and is well known for its wealth of fine colonial era Spanish architecture.
The city was originally built over the Guanajuato River, which flowed through tunnels underneath the city. However, after years of raising buildings to accommodate repeated flooding, in the mid-twentieth century, engineers built a dam and redirected the river into underground caverns. The tunnels were lit and paved with cobblestones for automobile traffic, and this underground road network carries the majority of cars driving through the city today. It is one of the most notable features of the city.
i'm back... with 800+ photos of this most beautiful, cultural and colorful medeival Town!
