I am recommissioning the Suzuki TS50 that I have owned from new in 1976, and that I imported to the UK from South Africa in 2009. On the afternoon of Saturday, March 30, 2013 I started work on the headlight nacelle and instrument cluster.

These are scans

of some older work

from a series I called

(Waaaaaaaaaay before

It was an exercise/experiment

Our first house had a garage

to end all garages. Well, okey

not as big as a barn, but....

Many of the lots in that neighborhood

had small~tiny second houses

built on them so the owners could

make additional revenue. The folks

that built this one had poor timing or

were too ambitious because as they

were building this brick monolith the

code changed - the structure was too

big for the lot to be acceptable as a

"dwelling unit". So it became a garage.

The second owner used it as a body shop

and had a hydraulic lift installed. That was

a strong reason for my interest in it. He

also left behind all manner of odd and ends

including the can of carbon rods and

Marvel Mystery Oil you see here.

(I am fully aware that my 365 photos have kinda' sucked lately. I just haven't been in the right mood to be all that creative.)
