There's something so beautiful and yet unnerving about looking at a bison in the wild. First of all, they're quite large in stature. They also have those big eyes that stare back at you and sometimes they even grunt a bit. When they move around, I get so impressed at their speed, as well as their strength. They're quite fierce when they want to be ... think the battle for dominance ... but quite silly looking at other times ... think these big beasts rolling around on the ground kicking their legs up in the air. Of course, there's a reason for everything that they do. Whether young or old, they quite fascinating to me.
Deemed the U.S. National Mammal in 2016, it seemed quite appropriate to recognize these amazing iconic figures, so rich in their American history ... well deserving of this honor.
Thanks for stopping by to view. Happy Monday to all.

Enjoy this dress because it was done with love! ❤
..from the series Shangri-lah a piece of land in the country side of Rio de Janeiro, between the hills of Petrópolis and lands of Areal.
Well, I got myself a little Bobble-Head Darth Vader, because I want to work a little with edges, lines etc. at the editing-department - maybe it can be used also for a joke or two :)
Here it comes with some typical edit by G´Mic´s Rodilius-Filter...
Everyone deserves a crown, especially a neon one!

Here we see two british icons sadly disappearing from the streets of the United Kingdom. They was photographed at Hunters Inn near Combe Martin in North Devon.

The Shoreline Amphitheater, built by Bill Graham, opened with a multiple day concert series in 1986 by the Grateful Dead. The backstage area displays one of the bands iconic symbols, the Steal Your Face prop that was once used by Bill Graham during a New Years concert.
This photo was taken by a Mamiya C-330 TLR medium format film camera and Mamiya-Sekor 1:3.5 f=65mm lens using Fuji Reala 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered in Photoshop.
There was a time when almost eerybody in Germany knew this lighthouse.
It's still well known but not as famous as it was.

Probably the most ICONIC view in Brugge, the city where I was born.
View from the Rozenhoedkaai, looking up at the Belfry, standing tall on the Market-square and one of Brugge’s three proud towers seen from all around.
LOL, I could also have called this: Blue skies?
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)

One of my Arne Jacobsen series 7 chairs. Those of you of a certain age may remember this chair as the one associated with Christine Keiler in "that photo" This was a government scandal when she had an affair with Profumo in 1963. This is one of the most iconic chairs of the 20th century, designed in 1955.
