Hundreds of New Yorkers from dozens of refugee, immigrant, religious, and community organizations staged a march from Bryant Park and rally in front of the United Nations. Protesters called attention to the delicate issues by representing refugees excluded by Trump administration with life-size orange rafts symbolizing refugee ocean crossings, large-scale photos of refugees, and by reading of the names of refugees who have died in transit.
