The Jaguar Mark IX (1958-1961) was the final development of the Jaguar Mark VII, which had been launched at the Earls Court motor show in October 1950, followed by the American launch at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York. It was specifically aimed at the American market, where it sold 500 cars in the first 3 days.
The Mark VII and its successors retained a separate chassis and used the XK engine, initially of 3.4 litres capacity, first seen in the low-volume XK120 sports car, introduced in 1948. The Mark VII was a large car by British standards but offered American buyers a traditional British interior of leather and walnut. The Mark VII was also one of the first British cars to offer automatic transmission, by Borg Warner, again reflecting American requirements.
The final version of this design, the Mark IX, was introduced in late 1958. It featured a larger engine, now of 3.8 litres capacity, disc brakes on all 4 wheels and power steering. Most featured a two-tone colour scheme but not the car shown here. Automatic transmission was still an option, although chosen by most buyers. A few Mark IXs (the number 30 comes to mind) were fitted out as limousines, with bench front seats, a division between front and rear and a cocktail cabinet in the back. I saw one of these, with chauffeur, parked near Fenchurch Street station in east London in 1963. It looked very smart and not at all shown up by a pair of Rolls-Royces parked alongside. The Mark IX was replaced by the all-new Mark X in late 1961.

The iX is BMW's flagship electric car. It doesn't have a number (from 1 to 8) like all other current BMW models. This is an xDrive 40 version with a 326 PS engine and a range of around 400 km.
This car took part in the 1950s Sports Car Race Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1999. It's George Edney's 1955 Lotus Mk IX, about thirty of which were produced. It could be used with a variety of engines, most often the 1,100cc Coventry Climax unit, but the programme of the event says that the engine capacity of this car was 1,498cc. The first Le Mans 24 Hour race contested by Lotus was with a Mk IX in 1955, driven by Colin Chapman and Ron Flockhart, but the car was disqualified after 12 hours when Colin Chapman went off the circuit at the Arnage corner into a sandbank and reversed the car back onto the circuit without getting permission from a marshall to do so.
The number 33 car next to the Lotus Mk IX is the 1958 Lotus Eleven of Ron Gammons and the number 66 car is the 1959 Lotus 15 of Paul Samuels.

Algum tempo depois da realização da cerimonia e os comprimentos aos noivos, o sol já começava a se por quando Wrath puxou Serena por entre a multidão, se afastando dos mesmo aos poucos. A levou para um canto mais calmo, para poder finalmente terem um momento a sós, logo encontrava um lugar perfeito para o momento, reencostou-se em um tronco com Serena ao seu lado, segurando a mão da mesma com carinho e orgulho, sentinddo a aliança coroando o dedo da mesma, o que lhe causo um radiante sorriso.
Wrath: Voce esta feliz shellan...?
Serena: Feliz? Wrath rs. É claro que estou feliz. Voce aind atem dúvidas?
Wrath: Não... é que... eu quero te ver feliz, me esforço muito todos os dias para manter seu lindo sorriso.
Serena: Nao precisa se esforçar dessa forma.
Wrath: Não??
Serena: Voce sempre me fez feliz, e sem fazer esforço algum rsrs Estou feliz hellren. E a prova disso, é a aliança em meu dedo.

Fiquei mal semana passada, de cama mesmo, mal tinha animo pra nada.
Mas a Ka (Akari) me passou mais algumas fotos e hoje dou continuidade!!!
Gente eu tava com dores no dia, e foi hipeeeeeer dificil deixar esse pessoalzinho todo em pé rs entãoo não esperem fotos do momento da troca de aliança e do beijo dos noivos. E tbm ainda falta a outra cerimonia de união desses dois, agora do modo dos vampiros.
