IX: Porträt einer Leitung... Als Beispiel für eine typische 110-kV-Leitung betrachten wir alle 51 Masten der Leitung von Mittelnkirchen im Alten Land am linken Elbufer stromabwärts von Hamburg Richtung Osten nach Neu Wulmstorf an der südwestlichen Hamburger Landesgrenze. Im Bild der 9. Mast in den Obstplantagen südwestlich von Jork-Westerladekop. Es ist ein Einebenenmast mit einfacher Erdseilspitze, gesehen von Südosten; im Hintergrund der 7. und 8. Mast, die die klassische Donauanordnung mit V-förmiger Erdseilspitze zeigen. Die Leitung wechselt am 9. Mast auf die niedrigere Einebenenkonfiguration, da sie unter der 380-kV-Höchstspannungsleitung des Netzbetreibers 50 Hertz, die die großen Umspannwerke Hamburg-Süd in Hamburg-Hausbruch und Dollern bei Stade verbindet, hindurchführt. Die Höchstspannungsleitung verläuft hinter dem Fotostandpunkt.
The majority of the construction work on Amiens Cathedral was completed in 1269 under the reign of the sainted King Louis IX of France, who is depicted here on the west facade of the Cathedral. Beside him are the heraldic arms of 'France Ancien' which he bore as king of France.
Today, 25th August, is his feast day.

Black Five 44871 hauls the Bristol Temple Meads to Grange over Sands leg of the Great Britain ix railtour through a downpour at Winwick Junction. 28th April 2016. Day three of the tour. A poor picture due to the conditions but included for the record.
This one is quite interesting to me (although I didn't know it at the time), as it was 1st registered the day before my mother's birthdate.
