During the occupation of Kaunas and the rest of Lithuania by the Soviet Union, the fort was used as a prison and way-station for prisoners being transported to labour camps. After the occupation of Lithuania by Nazi Germany, the fort was used as a place of execution for Jews.
Sunset on Rodeo Beach, located in the Fort Cronkhite area of the Marin Headlands, one of the most special places in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area with access to multiple trails, fantastic views, a dog-friendly beach, fascinating geology, and an interesting history. As a pocket beach, Rodeo Beach sands do not migrate up or down the coast. Instead, they are carried a short distance offshore in winter, tumble about in the surf, and then return to replenish the beach in the spring and summer. Thus, the sands of Rodeo Beach are native to the Marin Headlands and reflect the Franciscan geology of the closest hills and cliffs. This earthcache focuses on the abundant radiolarian chert and rare carnelian pebbles.

Cernan, pilot of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Gemini-IX spaceflight, sits in Launch Complex 16 suiting trailer while suiting up for a Gemini-IX/Agena simultaneous launch demonstration. This test is a coordinated countdown of the Atlas-Agena and the Gemini-Titan vehicles.

MH434's sister, recently restored Spitfire Mk. IX MH415 taking off from Foxlands Farm at the 2021 Victory Show. The aircraft is currently for sale, here's hoping she stays in the UK, preferably as a hangar-mate to MH434 at Duxford for company!

Seit Mai 2021 werden die Batteriemodule im BMW-Werk Leipzig gefertigt, seit Juli 2021 läuft in Dingolfing (Bayern) die Serienproduktion des ganzen Fahrzeugs. Auf der Consumer Electronics Show im Januar 2022 wurde die sportlichere M60-Version von BMW M präsentiert, der Marktstart ist für Juni 2022 geplant.
The battery modules have been manufactured at the BMW plant in Leipzig since May 2021, and series production of the entire vehicle has been running in Dingolfing (Bavaria) since July 2021. The sportier M60 version of BMW M was presented at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2022, the market launch is planned for June 2022.
