Captured in the shadows near sunset. Could have reduced the shutter speed some and brought down the ISO ... but the capture at ISO 6400 still turned out pretty good I think.

For over 300 years there was an active industry in those salt lakes close to the small village Peyriac de mer in Languedoc-Rousillon.
Today there are several paths leading over and around those saltlakes, also traversing some low hills in the beautiful landscape.

I had just arrived at the car park at Ashness Bridge, Derwentwater, kitted up and got as far as the car park exit when the sun came out shining onto the shelter, so quickly got out my Pentax ME Super I had brought and snapped a photo as well as my digital Sony camera.
I think, after processing, that the digital had a slight edge but as I was out to finish off my film roll I decided on posting it.

There was a group of about 12 Blue Tits feeding on the Bullrush heads , each head was only visited for a moment and then the bird moved on to the next one . I got as close as I dared and with an ISO of 2000 I was lucky enough to manage quite a few flight shots , This one was by far the best of the bunch .
