To stop harming, diminishing, and ignoring the planet, all species, and each other is to acknowledge and love ourselves. What is good for the planet IS what is good for each of us. And the good news is - it starts with every ONE!

DMX was Reebok's answer to Nike's Air and Air Max. Air pods under the outsole, all interconnected. I found them more comfortable than the Nike Air series, but I'm not sure how much the Reebok pods did, they remained comfortable after the pods went flat, and even after they wore away.
This pair was another from the liquidation sale haul I've discussed earlier. Another pair I began wearing regularly, as I liked the different styling and because, yes, they were comfortable.
But, like some other shoes of that era,, the outsoles hardened and crumbled away within months. The blue "pods" turned out to be very durable, staying inflated for about two years after the outsoles were gone. And even when they were flat, they still remained intact until a few years ago, when they finally crumbled away, leaving the remaining midsole. Still a very comfortable, serviceable shoe. None of the midsole "rot" like many Nikes.
I should note that every pair of this color DMX of that era, clear outsoles with a purple upper, crumbled like mine did, and most of the owners kept wearing them as is, like me. And I later bought a pair of Puma Mostros with the same clear outsole that also hardened and crumbled within months of their purchase. But again, they remained perfectly wearable.

Larnaca Salt Lake (Greek: Αλυκή Λάρνακας, Turkish: Larnaka Tuz Gölü) is a complex network of four salt lakes (3 of them interconnected) of different sizes to the west of the city of Larnaca. The largest is lake Aliki, followed by lake Orphani, lake Soros and lake Spiro.They form the second largest salt lake in Cyprus after the Limassol Salt Lake. The total surface area of the lakes adds up to 2.2 km2 and being just off the road leading to Larnaca International Airport is one of the most distinctive landmarks of the area. It is considered one of the most important wetlands of Cyprus and it has been declared a Ramsar site, Natura 2000 site, Special Protected Area under the Barcelona Convention and an Important Bird Area (IBA). It is surrounded by halophytic scrubland and on its bank lies the Hala Sultan Tekke, one of the holiest of shrines within Ottoman Islam. It houses the tomb of Umm Haram, Muhammad's 'wet-nurse'.
Besides its picturesque beauty, the lake is the haunt of 85 species of water-birds with estimated populations between 20,000–38,000. It is one of the important migratory passages through Cyprus. Among them are 2,000–12,000 flamingoes (Phoenicopterus ruber) which spend the winter months there feeding off populations of the brine shrimp Artemia salina.

The world we live in today is more connected than ever before. We have the capability to reach any person, store, publication, entertainment or piece of information we desire with the matter of a click, tap or scroll. As technology advances and becomes easier and cheaper to produce what was once known as the digital divide among different populations, slowly begins to close its gap.

Cobblestone Lofts , A series of interconnected 6-story buildings (24-28 Laight) forming one large residential property. The eastern three structures were all originally designed by Richard Berger as store-and-loft buildings, and completed from 1888 to 1891. The red brick facades have windows with sandstone lintels and sills and modest corbelled brick cornices. Corbelled, red-painted brick piers and black cast-iron piers frame the openings of the 1-story base on both facades and support exposed cast-iron lintels. Hardware remains on the windows where fireproof iron shutters were once attached. The east elevation was exposed after the Baptist Church on Laight Street and the dwellings to the north of it were demolished in the 1920s. It has long been the site of painted signage, but is now painted over in white and light grey.

DMX was Reebok's answer to Nike's Air and Air Max. Air pods under the outsole, all interconnected. I found them more comfortable than the Nike Air series, but I'm not sure how much the Reebok pods did, they remained comfortable after the pods went flat, and even after they wore away.
This pair was another from the liquidation sale haul I've discussed earlier. Another pair I began wearing regularly, as I liked the different styling and because, yes, they were comfortable.
But, like some other shoes of that era,, the outsoles hardened and crumbled away within months. The blue "pods" turned out to be very durable, staying inflated for about two years after the outsoles were gone. And even when they were flat, they still remained intact until a few years ago, when they finally crumbled away, leaving the remaining midsole. Still a very comfortable, serviceable shoe. None of the midsole "rot" like many Nikes.
I should note that every pair of this color DMX of that era, clear outsoles with a purple upper, crumbled like mine did, and most of the owners kept wearing them as is, like me. And I later bought a pair of Puma Mostros with the same clear outsole that also hardened and crumbled within months of their purchase. But again, they remained perfectly wearable.
