Facial tattoos have various meanings across different cultures and individuals. In some traditional cultures, facial tattoos symbolise identity, status, or belonging to a specific tribe or group. They can express personal achievements, courage, or bravery. Additionally, facial tattoos can represent spiritual or cultural beliefs, such as protection from evil spirits or a connection to the ancestors. In modern society, some individuals choose facial tattoos as an expression of individuality, rebellion, or as a form of art.

Simply liked the lines and the illusion of abandonment for the Holidays. There was a feeling of the coldness in corporate culture. Zero individuality, just the unemotional need of productivity.

I hold a distinct fascination for dry branches 🌱, even though I can't fully comprehend why. I find myself able to gaze at them for extended periods without succumbing to boredom. What particularly intrigues me is their fractal nature. Each branch bears a striking resemblance to the others, yet maintains its unique individuality, much akin to animals, humans, other plants, the expanse of skies, deltas, forests, skin, and all the nature's fruits and riches. It's fascinating how larger segments encompass smaller ones, all following a discernible pattern that our eyes inherently appreciate, unlike the realm of transhumanism that claims all of that is not important. It's not that it is not important, but necessary. Combine the branches with some composition, clean background and some camera, and there you have it – a today's pathway to derive pleasure from the mundane.

Since people are so into my real life & other do ... know that no matter what kind of relationship we have know this ... it's a good thing we do have a toxic relationship..

5 reason why.

These are the 5 most important things you should pay attention to in order to differentiate true love and toxic love.

Self-development

In true love, this is a very important thing for both partners because both should want the best for each other.

On the other hand, in toxic love, the primary interest is the relationship and the partners are more interested in the superficial aspects of the relationship.

Separate interests

In true love, both partners have different interests and they are both comfortable with that. Whether it is different friends, goals or hobbies, they will be comfortable with spending time separated to do the things they love.

In toxic love, the partners are too involved in each other’s loves, and will never go anywhere separated. They feel dependent on each other.

Individuality

In true love, both partners are comfortable with accepting and cherishing their partner’s individuality.

In toxic love, they are trying to change the partner to be a completely different person just to suit their needs and fit their image of the perfect partner.

Intimacy

In true love, partners are completely comfortable with their intimacy because their relationship is based on love, trust, care, and friendship.

In a toxic relationship, you may feel that s*x is too much of a pressure, and it can even make you feel insecure because you don’t want to do something your partner requires you and you are not comfortable with telling them.

Conversation

In true love, partners will try to make every conversation constructive, whether they agree or disagree about something because they want to understand each other and also help them.

In toxic love, most conversations are based on blaming, manipulating or defending your partner.

Collective Individuality

is not a figment of the imagination, but has been proven empirically, through market assessments of marketing agencies in the US in the late 60s. The proof: the basis of their studies tailored to around twelve different types of young people marketing campaigns for industrial products were financially successful; which are considered non-conformist audiences proved to be good consumers when you knew how to give goods a non-conformist image.

What was true then, is still true today. Whether vegan, Antifanten, esoteric or Altlinke: in their Perönlichkeitsstruktur same members of the different scenes not only as peas in a pod, they can also easily for marketing campaigns clamp when it is understood, to make them believe by carefully chosen phrases, they realized their differentness in a misanthropic business model.

I’ve always seen the seaside as a peaceful place, where reconnect with myself.

Humans are strictly bond with nature. After all we couldn’t live without all this complexity that surround us. Now, more than ever we need to find our own individuality, and our questions searches for earthly answers.

Sea knows it all

You and I and all men (and women) were made to find our identity in the One Mystical Christ, in Whom we all complete one another “unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the age of the fullness of Christ”...God is a consuming fire. He alone can refine us like gold, and separate us from the slag and dross of our selfish individualities to fuse us into this wholeness of perfect unity that will reflect His own Triune Life forever. When we all reach that perfection of love which is the contemplation of God in his glory, our inalienable personalities, while remaining eternally distinct, will nevertheless combine into One so that each one of us will find himself in all others, and God will be the Life and Reality of all.

Rabindranath Tagore (1861 – 1941) is best known as a poet a bengali( Indian), and in 1913 was the first non-European writer to be awarded the Nobel Prize for a notable work of poetry called Gitanjali: Song Offerings (Macmillan, 1912), for which he received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913.. He was a school dropout as he felt stifled within the classroom and found himself unable to think and felt claustrophobic within the four walls of a classroom."

Rabindranath Tagore toured Java in the year 1927 accompanied by eminent architect Surendra Nath Kar. Later, when Tagore decided to establish another house at 'Uttarayan' complex, Surendra Nath applied the architectural form of Java on that house and Tagore's son Rathindra Nath took the whole charge of construction of that house. Japanese artist Kono Shuson decorated this house. Tagore named it "UDAYAN". The construction work went till the year 1938.

Udayan is the most imposing house in the Uttarayan complex. It is meant for important guests visiting Santiniketan. Each suite in Udayan is on a different level which gives this house its individuality. In 2013, Visva Bharati opened a museum Guha Ghar, in the Uttarayan complex, in memory of Rathindranath Tagore.

White Canvas by Diconay Boa, the May exhibition @ Nitroglobus

Diconay explains:

Tattoos are jewelry for the skin.

People get them for many reasons: for attention, self-expression, artistic freedom,

rebellion, a visual display of a personal narrative, reminders of spiritual/cultural traditions, sexual motivation, addiction, identification with a group or even drunken impulsiveness. Our current society craves individuality and self expression. And now many people wear their artistic expression.

Tattoos are especially interesting in the virtual world because of its lack of permanence on a virtual mesh body. But someone talented in the digital arts can really make it look surreal and beautiful.

To me tattoos represent creativity, sensuality and this is what I have hoped to achieve in this study. This exhibit is a study of second life tattoos and my interpretation of the work of some tattoo artists in SL.

This is the reason I call this exhibit a White Canvas, representing the bare skin on which will be imprinted memories, emotions and art.

I hope you take some joy from it.

Welcome to my head and heart.

Rediscover the beauty of timeless fashion, reimagined for the modern muse. Which of the 49 colors will you choose to tell your story?

"The shadow, when it is realized, is the source of renewal; the new and productive impulse cannot come from established values of the ego. When there is an impasse, and sterile time in our lives—despite an adequate ego development—we must look to the dark, hitherto unacceptable side which has been at our conscious disposal….This brings us to the fundamental fact that the shadow is the door to our individuality. In so far as the shadow renders us our first view of the unconscious part of our personality, it represents the first stage toward meeting the Self. There is, in fact, no access to the unconscious and to our own reality but through the shadow. Only when we realize that part of ourselves which we have not hitherto seen or preferred not to see can we proceed to question and find the sources from which it feeds and the basis on which it rests. Hence no progress or growth is possible until the shadow is adequately confronted and confronting means more than merely knowing about it. It is not until we have truly been shocked into seeing ourselves as we really are, instead of as we wish or hopefully assume we are, that we can take the first step toward individual reality.

There are at least five effective pathways for traveling inward to gain insight into the composition of our shadow: (1) soliciting feedback from others as to how they perceive us; (2) uncovering the content of our projections; (3) examining our “slips” of tongue and behavior, and investigating what is really occurring when we are perceived other than we intended to be perceived; (4) considering our humor and our identifications; and (5) studying our dreams, daydreams, and fantasies."

✨ Turn Heads, Own the Streets – The Crystal Set by adorsy! ✨

Step into the spotlight and let your high-fashion streetwear moment begin. The Crystal Set by adorsy is my ultimate go-to for a bold yet effortlessly chic look, blending retro grunge, modern street style, and a touch of haute couture rebellion into one show-stopping ensemble.

Style and versatility are off the charts. This set is more than just an outfit—it’s a mood, a vibe, a whole aesthetic revolution. Whether I’m strutting down city streets or making a grand entrance at a rooftop party, the Crystal Set adapts to my energy. The bralette is soft yet sultry, adding that perfect dose of delicate femininity. The denim shorts are edgy and distressed, giving that vintage 90s supermodel-off-duty feel. The optional fishnets are a nod to classic punk culture—because a little rebellion is always in fashion. The faux fur jacket brings cozy luxe meets urban glam, an effortless statement piece. And the boots? Iconic. With 45 color choices, they’re the power move my wardrobe has been waiting for.

The mix-and-match possibilities are endless. I love personalizing my style, and adorsy gets it—each piece comes with separate texture and color HUDs, making it easy to customize and switch up the vibe whenever I want. The bralette, shorts, and fur jacket each have their own HUD for endless combinations. With bold colors, soft neutrals, and rich textures, I can create a look that screams downtown chic one day and soft romantic grunge the next. The boots alone come in 45 colors, making every step a new fashion statement.

The Crystal Set is a masterclass in streetwear evolution. It borrows from 90s grunge, Y2K baddie energy, and modern luxury layering to craft a look that is timeless, yet completely on-trend. Think Kate Moss in the 90s, with those barely-there bralettes and lived-in denim. Think early 2000s runway moments, when fur jackets, mini shorts, and mesh made headlines. Think right now—when individuality, confidence, and bold styling rule the streets.

Available for LaraX, PetiteX, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu, the Crystal Set by adorsy is my ultimate dressy casual chic look, redefining confidence one texture HUD at a time.

Fuji X-Pro1. Self-portrait with eyes shut. This image did not come naturally. The inspiration came when I looked at Alison Lambert's stark charcoal drawings. The human face, in her hands, goes beyond the portrait and reveals the collective, even archetypal structure of the facial topography. It reminds me of the easily suppressed fact that my carefully preserved and nurtured individuality is more like my favourite tune when playing the piano of my self.

Truly excited that I will have Caly's images at the walls of Nitroglobus during the month of July: half woman, half machine, artificial limbs, spine, body, brains.... a new era of artificial intelligence (robots/avatars) arriving, what are they and how should be look upon them and treat them?

Caly stipulates, using machina as an example, the myth of femininity, i.e. how women are trapped in an ideal image, denying their individuality. She concludes with the statement: 'What better allegory of the commodification of women than this reincarnation into machines?'

Meetshoven Castle

The original castle dates back to the Middle Ages. It was rebuilt and rebuilt several times.

In 1830, Baron Alexander Snoy was the owner. During the 19th century, the castle's status descended to that of a farm. In 1879, the property came to Oscar van den Eynde, who was also allowed to use the title of baron and the name van den Eynde de Rivieren in 1929.

The old knights' castle of the dynasty of Meynaertshoven (later renamed Meetshoven) was extensively rebuilt around 1960, a 'hard' restoration that largely lost the individuality of the 18th-century building with a much older core.

In terms of attitude and philosophy, being a rocker often means displaying intensity, authenticity, a form of rebellion against established norms, with strong personal and artistic commitment.

It is about expressing one’s individuality and fully “being oneself,” sometimes described by those who live it as “putting one’s guts on the table.” !

Built on the northern bank of the Tagus between 1514 and 1520 as part of the Tagus estuary defence system, the Tower of Belém is one of the architectural jewels of the reign of Manuel I.

In the tower as a whole one can distinguish two distinct volumes and military architectural models: the mediaeval keep tower and the modern bulwark which, as it contained two artillery levels, allowed for long-distance cannon firing as well as ricochet shots over the water.

The Tower of Belém is a cultural reference, a symbol of the specificity of Portugal at the time, including its privileged exchange with other cultures and civilisations. As a protector of Portuguese individuality and universality, the tower saw its role confirmed in 1983 when it was classified by UNESCO as "Cultural Heritage of Humanity".

Citadel, Berat , Albania

The Onufri National Museum of Icons is located in the inhabited quarter of Berat Castle. This museum contains a rich iconographic collection and some religious service items. It is housed in a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, built in 1797 on the foundation of an older church with the same name.

It features the work of perhaps the most remarkable Albanian iconographic painter, Onufri, active during the 16th century. His pieces are notable for the great realism and individuality introduced into his subject’s facial expressions and body positions, breaking with the strict conventions of the time. He was also the first to introduce the color pink into icon painting. The secret behind making this color was not passed on and died with him. His works are also noted for their intense use of colors and use of natural dyes.
