One more time. Not to ignore what's going on in Libya right now either.
In this shot, I love the effects of the ocean breeze on the Japanese Flag. It is surrounded by two American Flags, although one is hiding behind the palm tree.
Thank you again to everyone who left heartfelt comments on the last two pics. It means a lot.

Too often we ignore these guys when we are taking photos. Northwestern Crow at Fishtrap Creek Park, Abbotsford, B.C.
Whatever goes around me
What passed in front of my eyes.
I only see what I want to see
And in the way I want to see.
How can I I not see? For
I don’t see the same way you do
We all see things from different perspective.
But to see and not to ignore is important – so
i can understand how you see things.
For if we choose not see what passes in front of us
Who know how it will end?
While hiking, I have been seeing a growing number of people taking only a brief view of the surroundings and then burying themselves in their electronic devices. This ongoing project highlights the need to re-examine our need to unplug and just enjoy the beauty of this world.

Ignoring the lack of ironing, stuff here that hasn't been worn in years! Some 'bin' some 'keep' (and a pile of stuff that doesn't fit anymore too!
Right ignore the spare tyres.....no not mine cheeky I mean the landrover ones and the gas bottle by the shed.
Been meaning to get rid of those for some time.
Anyway this was last sunday when it clouded over a little in the late afternoon after a stonking sunny Saturday. Hence why I am not wearing that much really, and of course the fact that I don't have a spare tyre of my own anymore or least not a landrover one
they may go away......but watch this, this will sort them....*HEY, YOU THERE....YOU CAN'T PARK THERE....IT'S TAKEN."
I normally ignore gulls for the most part, they are just too hard to ID accurately. But I was surprised just how dark the back feathers were on this gull. Possibly a hybrid, maybe?
[View @ 100%] Often ignored due to their abundance, these bright finches are a familiar sight in summer. Seen at Port Huron SGA.
The Northern Flicker is the woodpecker I am most familiar with and getting close to them is sometimes tricky. This one was feeding on ants around the base of some newly planted trees. It ignored all the walkers, the dogs, the crow and me and kept feeding. I was able to over a period of time to slowly get closer to get a better photo. So I will throw out the 200+ photos that were just in case shots and process maybe the last 10. This one is just a trial shot.
More to come.
