"If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
And I'm singing
Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive"
(I specifically wanted to keep a dark background to give more meaning to the words in the description.) Thank you ♥

If this fence represents the bars on a cell phone, the Barn Owl has an excellent signal. A nocturnal species rarely seen hunting during the day.
Si cette clôture représente des barres de réception cellulaire, cette Chouette effraie a une excellente connectivité. Une espèce nocturne que j'ai rarement vue chasser durant le jour.
If roses are meant to be red
And violets to be blue
Why isn't my heart meant for you
My hands longing to touch you
But I can barely breathe
Starry eyes that make me melt
Right in front of me
Lost in this world
I even get lost in this song
And when the lights go down
That is where I'll be found
This music's irresistible
Your voice makes my skin crawl
Innocent and pure
I guess you heard it all before
Mister Inaccessible
Will this ever change
One thing that remains the same
You're still a picture in a frame
Lost in this world
I even get lost in this song
And when the lights go down
That is where I'll be found
I get lost in this world
I get lost in your eyes
And when the lights go down
That's where I'll be found
Yeah yeah
I get lost in this world
I get lost in your eyes
And when the lights go down
Am I the only one

Bullfinch - Pyrrhula Pyrrhula (F)
The Eurasian bullfinch, common bullfinch or bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula) is a small passerine bird in the finch family, Fringillidae. In Anglophone Europe it is known simply as bullfinch, as it is the original bird to bear the name bullfinch.
The bullfinch is a bulky bull-headed bird. The upper parts are grey; the flight feathers and short thick bill are black; as are the cap and face in adults (they are greyish-brown in juveniles), and the white rump and wing bars are striking in flight. The adult male has red underparts, but females and young birds have grey-buff underparts. It moults between July and October, but males do not have the duller autumn plumage that is typical of some other finches. The song of this unobtrusive bird contains fluted whistles, and is often described as 'mournful'.
This bird breeds across Europe and temperate Asia. It is mainly resident, but many northern birds migrate further south in the winter. Mixed woodland with some conifers is favoured for breeding, including parkland and gardens.
This species does not form large flocks outside the breeding season, and is usually seen as a pair or family group.
The food is mainly seeds and buds of fruit trees, which can make it a pest in orchards: in England for centuries every parish paid a bounty for every bullfinch killed. Ash and hawthorn are favoured in autumn and early winter. If wild bird cover is planted for it, kale, quinoa and millet are preferred, next to tall hedges or woodland.

#Sound
For "Sound" it had to be my violin. If I don't play it (and I know I should, but, oh dear, the overcoming!), I can at least honour it with a bit of Flickr sunshine from time to time. Maybe I should work on my "scratch resitance" (sound-wise), it might help me to get over the first caterwauling hours of exercise after so many years of not practicing ;-)
This, you've guessed it, is a small part of the F hole, about 2 cm / 0,78 inches wide. I decided to go for a slightly more "obscure", kind of vague low key look with a very shallow DOF, because when it comes to music, sound in general, it often is not very clear at all why we like a song, a specific sound, or why we positively hate it. Sound, music moves us, either way.
I have a busy day today, so I can only stop by here today occasionally, I hope to catch up with you later! HMM, Everyone, and have a nice and safe week ahead!

If they say
Who cares if one more light goes out?
In a sky of a million stars
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out?
If a moment is all we are
We're quicker, quicker
Who cares if one more light goes out?
Well I do

Empty Chair
I sit alone at a table for two
An empty chair that once belonged to you
It is not just the empty chair
And the table for two
Some days seeing a table for two
I am reminded once more of you
The emptiness I feel all over again
Without you
Despite many years alone
I have become all too accustomed alone at a table for two
Many years have passed sitting alone at a table for two
It is in times of sorrow that a table for two
And the empty chair next to me
That I am saddened once more
It is then that I wish it could be you
In the empty chair next to me once more
Right here next to me
Playing footsies under the table
Squeezing my leg
Touching my finger as if you’re touching me for the first time
That look across the table of
I love you
It will be okay
I think of this world you left behind
It would be unrecognisable to you now
And I thank God in a way
You are set free from the state of this world
I miss you
Seeing a table for two
Just for today
I don’t want to sit once more
At a table for two
With that empty chair next to me
In memory of my beloved who departed this world so young
You are where you are meant to be - and I am where I am meant to be
Until we meet again in all eternity
Forever in my heart

"If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song)" is a protest song written by Pete Seeger and Lee Hays. It was written in 1949 in support of the Progressive movement, and was first recorded by the Weavers, a folk music quartet composed of Seeger, Hays, Ronnie Gilbert, and Fred Hellerman. It was a number 10 hit for Peter, Paul and Mary in 1962 and then went to number 3 a year later when recorded by Trini Lopez in 1963.
If anyone can tell me if this mountain has a name or where it is I would appreciate it as for the life of me I can't remember if it was the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales near the Lakes.

If you read this you will understand the title. As I was processing the slide and final crop, it was then I noticed there are two birds - the lovely colored goldfinch and one other hiding. Hence: Color and Camouflage!
