I took a road trip by myself when I turned 30. I told everyone that I was leaving to look for Bigfoot. I found Bigfoot. I also found that I'm really happy to be alive with all the folks I've been lucky enough to cross paths with.

Originally built as a hunting lodge, it is today referred to as "the cottage" and accommodates, dormitory style, artists, scientists and visitors with special permission to stay on the island overnight.

Ossabaw Island was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Hunting the Robot, a young Dutch band impressed me tonight. It was a great gig!

Managed to catch these just before I left, hard to get a picture because they have to be in the far corner of the enclosure and the light was poor and they were running up and down!

Lightweight kilt made from wool in the style of a traditional Scottish kilt purchased from a local knitwear shop for £25.

I assume he is going hunting, probably ducks or geese, the fading light of day, to bring something home before the sun goes down.

No worries, this crazy swallow is happily alive. It flew into my kitchen and landed on an old picture frame.
