Hunting Poodle Plate
With 30 poodified butter pats lined up like toy soldiers on a shelf, I’m moving on to the next course. I am proud to serve up my first poodle painting on a dinner plate! This is Angie Louter's fabulous Red Creole with a Mallard. The plate itself is quite interesting. It is a Japanese Mikasa Borghese design. I quite like the scalloping of the silver-rimmed edge. Oh yes, indeed, I am becoming addicted to this art form. I hope Fluff Daddy has the good sense to hide our fine china--lol.

Families raise their children safely into the sport of hunting which is filled with traditions. Wisconsin’s Whitetail Deer gun season is 9 days long and requires hunters to wear Blaze Orange for safety. The season in closely monitored by the Wisconsin DNR. The DNR expects more than 600,000 hunters, about 10% of the state’s population, to take to the Wisconsin woods and fields next weekend. Wisconsin deer hunting runs deep with heritage for many Wisconsinites as the deer season here has an almost cult like following.

Hunting 126. This research aircraft was designed to explore the low-flying characteristics of "Jet Flap" aircraft. Jet Flap was conceived as a means of producing extra lift at low speeds by redirecting more than half of the engine exhaust through a slot along the trailing edge of the wing, and blown over the flaps and control surfaces. Another 10% exhaust was directed to small jets on the wing tips and tail to provide control as low as 32mph. Powered by single Bristol Siddeley Orpheus 805 engine. This a/c flew until 1967. XN714.
