The Food Bank for Westchester presented Leake & Watts staff and residents with the Hunger Heroes Service Provider Award in June 2013 for their work in the Leake & Watts Healthy Futures Program & Youth Gardens.
My school is having a Hunger Games party on the 27th and there's this competition where you design a tribute's outfit for the Opening Ceremony. I did a District 12 girl. :D
Tania Reynolds spent the day at a school in Pickering Ontario where she educated students about hunger and agriculture issues, and the importance of development assistance. The students were encouraged to write letters to policy makers in both Canada and the US.

City College staff, from all departments, joined Farmshare of America and Strike Out Hunger Food Drive in Alachua County to make a difference this holiday season. Over 800 families received an estimated 20 pounds of perishable and non-perishable food items. Great Job!!! If not treated patient may progress to severe hypoglycemia that can include: disorientation.seizures.unconsciousness.death
