as i walked along bourke street mall i could see greg sitting next to a sandwich board chatting to another guy, as i was passing i noticed that the sandwich board mentioned a hunger strike and transcendent compounds, intrigued, i stopped to ask what the deal was, greg was happy to explain and gave me a flyer, when i met greg it was the first day of his hunger strike, in fact he had not long started, greg is a mystic and is undertaking a hunger strike "in order to raise awareness and to pressure the victorian government to recognise their legitimate use and ensure that appropriate legal, regulated access is provided to those who use them as part of their religious and spiritual practices" after chatting a bit about spiritual practice and everyone's right to do so free of persecution i asked if he would mind me taking a photo of him for my stranger project, greg was happy to oblige, i look forward to catching up with greg and chatting some more about things spiritual and otherwise over the course of his 37 day hunger strike, you can find out more about greg at his website kasarik.com/

i know what it is like to look in these places for a meal because there are none any where else.

For the first time, FAO is participating at the Harare Agriculture Exhibition Show from 24 to 29 August 2015.
FAO leads the food and nutrition security priority area of the ZUNDAF, within the United Nations family. ZUNDAF is the UN system’s strategic programme framework to support national development priorities as articulated in the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (ZIMASSET). It is against this background that FAO is taking part in Zimbabwe’s biggest agricultural and exhibition event.
The event presents a synopsis of the Organization’s endeavours in partnership with the Government of Zimbabwe and resource and development partners in efforts to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, accelerate socio-economic development through agriculture, and promote the sustainable management and utilisation of natural resources for the benefit of present and future generations of the people of Zimbabwe.

There was a guy inside this bus stop by Bastille on a hunger strike. It was 44 days. His health was going bad. He was protesting about the conditions of the homeless. I have no idea what's going on with him now, but he is probably not still on hunger strike.
Crazy
Patsy Cline
Crazy, I'm crazy for feeling so lonely
I'm crazy, crazy for feeling so blue
I knew you'd love me as long as you wanted
And then some day you'd leave me for somebody new
Worry, why do I let myself worry
Wondering what in the world did I do
Crazy, for thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying
And crazy for crying
And I'm crazy for loving you
Worry, why do I let myself worry
Wondering what in the world did I do
Crazy, for thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying
And crazy for crying
And I'm crazy for loving you
