At the centre of Hull Old Town lies Holy Trinity Church. The city's main civic church and England's largest parish church by area was originally just a chapel of ease to All Saints Church in Hessle when it was begun. One of the first parts to be built, the transepts, were constructed largely out of brick, one of the earliest medieval structures to use this building material, lost since the days of the Romans. Building then continued in stages for over two hundred years, finishing with the completion of the tower in 1520. Internally, the church benefits from an abundance of light as well as a range of wonderful features from across the ages; from the 14th century marble font through to later periods such as Thomas Earle's memorial carvings, the grotesque creatures on the Victorian pew ends and up to the recent installation of a memorial stained glass to lost trawlermen. The church also houses England's largest parish church organ with around 4000 pipes.

I'm not so sure I like this...

Today was calm, just had to write an English essay. I passed my drivers exam, so I just have to wait until December to get my permit. Woooooo

Hundreds of multi coloured lanterns helped light up Liverpool’s bombed out church this evening.,,,

The lanterns had been made by city schoolchildren and were part of the light and sound installation to commemorate the Liverpool May Blitz .,,,

Out of the Darkness is a free sound and light display that will feature projections, dramatic archive footage and images from the time, as well as a soundscape which will re-create the noises of those nights of bombing.,,,

St Luke’s Church was one of the casualties of the Liverpool May Blitz - it was hit by an incendiary bomb on May 6 1941. 75 years on, that devastating bombing campaign will be remembered in Out of the Darkness.,,,

As well as the installation inside the church, outside there will be thousands of unique stained-glass lanterns created by schools and community groups across Liverpool.,,,

Out of the Darkness will run from 9pm each night at the Bombed Out Church until Sunday .....Thanks a lot for your comments, faves, invites, etc. Very much appreciated!

108/365 - Tears And Rain - James Blunt

Bad weather over France this days, it rained all day so we had to deal with.

I had really no idea for today's shot so we went to town with Loic.

Today is something new, something different, maybe more poetic and abstract.

Don't know what to think about but I kind like this shot.

I've been tagged by Lisa yesterday, thanks to her, so here is ten things about me :

1 - I love to hang out barefoot, I love to wear just a short, I love when it's warm and sunny.

2 - Kelly Slater is a very inspiring person for me.

3 - I'm in love with Tristan Prettyman and Katie Melua, just love their music.

4 - I love to travel, I'm lucky I've seen various places and countries, I can't wait to travel to Australia one day.

5 - I quit sport and focus on photography after a motorbike accident that took me 4 surgeries on my right knee to recover

6 - I don't like to run but I like to swim... that's maybe not surprising !

7 - I smoke too much, I decided to stop smoking until the end of 2010...

8 - My brother has always been inspiring for me, I may have try close to everything he did

9 - I was scared to see what's under the surface until I dive with sharks last year

10 - I would love to know how to play guitare, I try, but I've to admit I'm really bad at it !

So I'm going to tag 10 contacts that I like to check their stream and they'll do this 10 stuff if they want !

Chrysanthemums - Ballarat Botanic Garden conservatory. June 2013

This is the rich chocolate cake decorated with chocolate cream cheese icing and hundreds and thousands that I baked for Scout for his fourth birthday.

The cake recipe, written down as a "Pantry Chocolate Cake" because all the ingredients are readily found in most pantries as staples, is a very old one, given to my Great-Grandmother by her cook before she left service and retired in the 1960s. The recipes were probably written down by her when she entered service in the 1920s, and she no doubt learned them from the cook whom she was apprenticed to. My Great-Grandmother's cook gave my Great-Grandmother, who had never cooked a meal in her life, a hand written cookbook of her "never-fail recipes". Whilst my Great-Grandmother employed another cook and never cooked a meal throughout the remainder of her very long life, she did cherish the cookbook, which was passed to my Grandmother, who rarely cooked herself. She in turn passed the cookbook to me, and I do enjoy cooking many of the delightful recipes from it. These include "Pantry Chocolate Cake", "Afternoon Tea Orange and Poppyseed Cake" and "Thick Breakfast Orange Curd".

This beautiful nursery tea set is made by the Shell China company in the 1920s. It features six cups, saucers and plates as well as a teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl, all gilt and featuring different nursery rhymes including: "The Queen of Hearts", "Sing a Song of Sixpence", "Ride a Cock-Horse to Banbury Cross", "Goosey-Goosey Gander", "There Was a Little Man who had a Little Gun", "Jack and Jill" and "To Market to Market to Buy a Fat Pig". The set was a gift to me from a close friend. There are also doll (bear) sized tea spoons which are sterling silver salt spoons, and the sugar tongs in the sugar bowl is Eighteenth Century sterling silver.

Copeville.

Copeville is in the Hundred of Bandon which was declared in 1898 but the government was very slow to survey the land for settlement. Areas closest to the Murray River were naturally selected first. The inland parts of the Hundred were surveyed after the Karoonda to Waikerie railway line was put through the Hundred in December 1914. More parts of the Hundred were resumed from pastoral lease and surveyed in 1919 and more again in 1926. After the railway line opened a Post Office named Glencope was established at the railway siding which was also known as Glencope as the siding was built on land of Mr H Cope. The government resumed 83 acres of Cope’s leasehold land to establish the town and railway siding in 1917. A standpipe linked to a deep artesian bore provided water for trains and for the public. Copeville as it was named had 68 town allotments. When allotments were put up for sale in 1919 only one sold at the initial auction. The first building was a tin and iron shed used as the new Post Office from 1919. The second building was a garage erected in 1931 and the third was the general store erected in 1932. Copeville was a busy railway station as it received grain from the Bowhill area through to the east of Copeville. Copeville had the only grain silos along the Waikerie to Karoonda railway line except for Waikerie. Before the silos were built all wheat was bagged in stacks 18 bags high by 48 bags long and 12 bags wide. The silos were erected in 1965/66. But the town developed so slowly. A second stone general store was built in Copeville in 1933 but it has only been used as a dwelling since 1941. A third and more lasting stone general store was built in the town in 1936 and still stands near the former railway line. The second to last public building to be erected in Copeville was the besser block hall built in 1961 and opened in 1962. An ugly foyer was added to that hall in 1973. Whilst times were good the Methodists purchased the vacated old stone hall of 1920 when it went up for sale in 1961 and they used it as their church until they built a new besser block Methodist Church in Copeville in 1970 with fortnightly services .In 1977 it became a Uniting Church but it is now closed ( 1986.) The railway line in Copeville closed in 1994 although the upper part of the line to Waikerie closed earlier in 1990.

The school which opened in 1915 was held in a variety of sites from a farm barn to eventually the Copeville hall when it was built in 1920. A local farmer Mr Cope donated land for the Copeville hall. Only three or four teachers ever taught at the school in its early years as the school closed in 1936. Surprisingly the Copeville School reopened in 1948 in the hall and in 1956 a new wooden class room was erected on a block in the town with years one to three in the old hall and the rest of the classes in the new wooden building. The school had a peak enrolment of 39 students in 1963. At the end of 1966 the school closed as the new East Murray Area School was about to open in February 1967 near Mindarie.

One hundred years ago, postcards were the most common and easiest way to communicate with loved ones not only across countries whilst on holidays, but across neighbourhoods on a daily basis with the minutiae of life on them. This is because unlike today where mail is delivered on a daily basis, there were several deliveries done a day. At the height of the postcard mania in 1903, London residents could have as many as twelve separate visits from the mailman. This means that people in the early Twentieth Century amassed vast collections of picture postcards which today are highly collectible depending upon their theme. This is a selection of British Edwardian Christmas postcards with faerie tale themes.

Top row: Hansel and Gretel (card no 3471), Little Red Riding Hood (card no 3475), Little Snow White (card no 3473) and Cinderella (card no 3472), unknown illustrator, published in Bavaria in 1903 for the British postcard market by Raphael Tuck and Sons as part of a set of six expensive luxury "Art Postcards" embossed cards embellished with gold. The remaining two not shown here are Puss in Boots and Sleeping Beauty.

Middle row from left to right: Dick Whittington (featuring a removable sixteen page book on the front with the story "arranged in rhyme for the little ones"), unknown illustrator, card number 554 published in England for B.B. London (circa 1910).

Cinderella illustrated by Ellen Jessie Andrews, (card no 1815 II) published in Saxony (circa 1903) for the British postcard market by Raphael Tuck and Sons as part of a set of six "Christmas Postcards".

Hansel and Gretel (card no 8097) published in Germany (circa 1908) for the British postcard market by Raphael Tuck and Sons as part of a set of six "Christmas Postcards".

Cinderella (unknown illustrator or card publisher) circa 1910.

Sleeping Beauty illustrated by Ellen Jessie Andrews, (card no 1815 I) published in Saxony (circa 1903) for the British postcard market by Raphael Tuck and Sons as part of a set of six "Christmas Postcards".

Middle row from left to right: Beauty and the Beast (featuring a removable fourteen page book on the front with the story "arranged in rhyme for the little ones"), unknown illustrator, card number 627 published in England for B.B. London (circa 1910).

Bottom row: The Wild Swans, The Snow Queen, The Little Match Girl, The Little Mermaid, The Ice Maiden and What the Moon Saw, the complete set of six Hans Anderson Fairy Tales illustrated by Sydney Carter, printed in Germany for S. Hildesheimer and Company of London and Manchester (circa 1906).

Raphael Tuck & Sons was a business started by Raphael Tuck and his wife in Bishopsgate in the City of London in October 1866, selling pictures and greeting cards, and eventually selling books and picture postcards, which was their most successful line. Their business was one of the best known in the "postcard boom" of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Their contributions left a lasting effect on most of the artistic world. During the Blitz on London during the Second World War, the company headquarters, Raphael House, was destroyed including the originals for most of their series. The company never fully recovered. The company combined with two others, to become the British Printing Corporation (renamed British Printing & Communications Corporation in 1982 and finally Maxwell Communications Corporation in 1987), which was originally located only a short distance from where the first shop of Ernestine and Raphael Tuck once stood.

Ellen Jessie Andrews (1857 - 1907) was one of Raphael Tuck's most senior artists. She was renown as a painter of children. She worked in the greetings and card industry for over twenty years, illustrating books and cards prior to her untimely death. Ellen (known as Eddie) was born in Camberwell, London, the third of four sisters in an affluent shipping family. She exhibited a painting at the Royal Academy in 1897.

Siegmund Hildesheimer (1832 - 1896) was a German-born British publisher, best known for Christmas and other greetings cards, and postcards, produced by Siegmund Hildesheimer and Company Ltd, in London and Manchester. In 1881 went into partnership with Charles William Faulkner, as Hildesheimer & Faulkner, with offices at 41 Jewin Street, London.

Sydney Carter (1874 - 1945) was born in Enfield, the son of artist Richard Carter. He took after his father and Sydney's portraits and landscapes are well known and highly sought after. He worked in oils and with gouache. He also worked as a cartoonist and a postcard artist, working almost exclusively for Siegmund Hildesheimer throughout the early 1900s. He eventually took up residence in South Africa where he lived from 1923 until his death.

Kilkenny Castle, the signature symbol of the Medieval city. Kilkenny Castle (Irish: Caisleán Chill Chainnigh) is a castle in Kilkenny, Ireland built in 1195 by William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke to control a fording-point of the River Nore and the junction of several routeways. It was a symbol of Norman occupation and in its original thirteenth-century condition it would have formed an important element of the defences of the town with four large circular corner towers and a massive ditch, part of which can still be seen today on the Parade.

The property was given to the people of Kilkenny in 1967 and the castle and grounds are now managed by the Office of Public Works. The gardens and parkland adjoining the castle are open to the public. The Parade Tower is a conference venue. Awards and conferring ceremonies of the graduates of "Kilkenny Campus" of National University of Ireland, Maynooth have been held there since 2002.

Kilkenny Castle has been an important site since Strongbow constructed the first castle, probably a wooden structure, in the 12th century. The Anglo-Normans had established a castle in 1173, possibly on the site of an earlier residence of the Mac Gilla Pátraic kings of Ossory. Kilkenny formed part of the lordship of Leinster, which was granted to Richard fitz Gilbert de Clare, better known as Strongbow. Strongbow’s daughter and heiress, married William Marshall in 1189. The Earl Marshall owned large estates in Ireland, England, Wales and France and managed them effectively. He appointed Geoffrey fitz Robert as seneschal of Leinster and so began a major phase of development in Kilkenny, including the construction of Kilkenny Castle and the agreement of rents and privileges with burgesses or citizens of the borough. The first stone castle on the site, was completed in 1213. This was a square-shaped castle with towers at each corner; three of these original four towers survive to this day

James Butler, 3rd Earl of Ormonde, bought the castle in 1391 and established himself as ruler of the area. The Butler dynasty then ruled the surrounding area for centuries. They were Earls, Marquesses and Dukes of Ormonde and lived in the castle for over five hundred years. The Castle became the seat to the very powerful family, the Butlers of Ormonde or Butler family, who lived there until 1935.

Butler family sold the castle to the local Castle Restoration Committee in the middle of the 20th century for £50. Shortly afterward it was handed over to the State, and has since been refurbished and is open to visitors. There are ornamental gardens on the city side of the castle, and extensive land and gardens to the front. It has become one of the most visited tourist sites in Ireland. Now a property in state care. Part of the National Art Gallery is on display in the castle.

Kilkenny castle was the venue for the meeting of the General Assembly, or parliament, of the Confederate Ireland government in the 1640s.

Interior courtyard

The castle seen from the nearby River Nore.Richard de Clare (also known as Strongbow) and other Norman knights came to Kilkenny in 1172, the high ground beside the River Nore was as an ideal site on which to build a wooden tower. He built a wooden castle of the type known as motte-and-bailey.

This strategic site was where the local kings, the O'Carrolls (840 AD), O’Dunphys and Fitzpatricks, had their castle(s) before the Norman invasion.

Twenty years later, de Clare's son-in-law, William Marshal, Earl of Pembroke, built the first stone castle on the site, of which three towers still remain.

The castle was owned by the seneschal of Kilkenny Sir Gilbert De Bohun who inherited the county of Kilkenny and castle from his mother in 1270, in 1300 he was outlawed by Edward I but was reinstated in 1303, he held the castle until his death in 1381. It was not granted to his heir Joan, but seized by the crown and sold to the Butler family.

[edit] Butlers of Ormonde

The Castle became the seat to a very powerful family, the Butlers of Ormonde or Butler family. They were a remarkable family, resilient, politically astute and faithful to the crown and to Ireland. These loyalties determined their fortunes and career. The Butler family arrived in Ireland with the Norman invasion, and originally settled in Gowran. They changed their name from FitzWalter in 1185 to Butler. The family had become wealthy, and James Butler, 3rd Earl of Ormonde, bought the castle in 1391 and established himself as ruler of the area. The Butler dynasty then ruled the surrounding area for centuries.

By the 18th century, the castle had become run down, reflecting the failing fortunes of the Butler family. However, some restoration was carried out by Anne Wandesford of Castlecomer, who brought wealth back into the family upon marrying John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde.

In the 19th century, the Butlers then attempted to restore it to its original medieval appearance, also rebuilding the north wing and extending the south curtain wall. More extensions were added in 1854.

View from the river, 1841The Butler family remained living in the castle until 1935, when they sold its contents for £6,000, moved to London, and abandoned it for thirty years. The impact of rising taxes, death duties, economic depression and living costs had taken their toll. While the Ormondes had received £22,000 in rental income in the 1880s, investment income in the 1930s was in the region of £9,000 and by 1950 these investments yielded only £850. They disposed of the bulk of their tenanted estates in Tipperary and Kilkenny, 21,000 acres (85 km²), by 1915 for £240,000. Death duties and expenses following the death of James Butler, 3rd Marquess of Ormonde in 1919 amounted to £166,000[1].

Auction Catalogue, 1935In 1967, Arthur Butler, 6th Marquess and 24th Earl of Ormonde, sold the abandoned and deteriorating castle to the Castle Restoration Committee for £50, with the statement: "The people of Kilkenny, as well as myself and my family, feel a great pride in the Castle, and we have not liked to see this deterioration. We determined that it should not be allowed to fall into ruins. There are already too many ruins in Ireland." He also bought the land in front of the castle from the trustees "in order that it should never be built on and the castle would be seen in all its dignity and splendour". Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull turned up at the castle hand over party, with Jagger telling the newspapers "We just came to loon about."[citation needed]

[edit] Confederate Ireland

In the 17th century, the castle came into the hands of Elizabeth Preston, wife of then Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, another James Butler, also 12th Earl and 1st Duke of Ormonde. Butler, unlike most of his family, was a Protestant and throughout the Irish Confederate Wars of the 1640s was the representative of Charles I in Ireland. However, his castle became the capital of a Catholic rebel movement, Confederate Ireland, whose parliament or "Supreme Council" met in Kilkenny Castle from 1642-48. Ormonde himself was based in Dublin at this time. The east wall and the northeast tower of the Castle were damaged in 1650 during the siege of Kilkenny by Oliver Cromwell during the Cromwellian conquest of Ireland. They were later torn down. Then, in 1661, Butler remodelled the castle as a “modern” château after his return from exile. A new entrance gateway in the south wall was built around this time.

[edit] Irish Civil War

During the Irish Civil War in 1922, Republicans were besieged in the Castle by Irish Free State forces. The Ormondes, together with their pet Pekinese, chose to remain in situ in their bedroom over the great gate, which was the main focus of attack. There was a machine gun outside their door. One man was injured but a great deal of damage was inflicted on the castle, which took many years to repair[2].

[edit] Restoration

The rest of the 20th century saw a large amount of restoration and maintenance take place, as well as the castle being opened to visitors[3]. The Butler Gallery, in the castle basement, holds rotating exhibitions put on by the Kilkenny Art Gallery Society in a venue named for Peggy and Hubert Butler.

There are ornamental gardens on the city side of the castle, and extensive land and gardens to the front. It has become one of the most visited tourist sites in Ireland. Now a property in state care. Part of the National Art Gallery is on display in the castle.

Excavations and building surveys by Ben Murtagh in the 1990s revealed traces of an earlier earthwork castle, exposed a postern gate (side entrance) and section of the castle ditch facing on to the Parade (now visible), and also partly uncovered the lost south-east side of the castle.

The entrance was through the (now missing) east wall. Various other features of the original castle have also been excavated, including original stone buttressing and a garderobe. Parts of this castle survive to the present day but the castle has changed over centuries. The south curtain wall is long gone, the elaborate entrance gate is a 17th century addition, and in much of what can be seen from the castle park side is a 19th century reconstruction.

If you're hesitant to reach for the totally skimpy style, this sporty MILF Tank Top and Pants Outfit will not only turn heads but will also add more sexy strut to your sashay with its sizzling hot sexy vibe.

I have truly never had much of a problem with the slang term "MILF." Besides, I have always liked the fact that it presented mothers as alluring, sexual beings.

Today, WHIP (Women who are Hot, Intelligent, and in their Prime) is the new MILF. This empowering rebrand will likely come as welcome news for famous women like Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Sam Taylor-Johnson, who have all been labeled as voracious older women swooping in on helpless young man-candy.

The rise of the WHIP is certainly well-timed for Brigitte Macron, perhaps the preeminent WHIP in the world right now.

When you look good, you feel good. That is why I love wearing this hot fashion forward outfit by 1 Hundred.

This is my 50th photograph to make Explore! Thanks so much everyone! : )

Hello everyone!

This is officially my 100th photograph posted on Flickr and my first post of 2009.

What better city to take you to than to my favourite city in all of Europe, the Venice of the North, Bruges. I thought long and hard about it over the last few months and after flipping between Amsterdam and Bruges I've come to the final decision that this is it, my #1. I love it, It's such a magical city and I'm beyond thankful that I had the opportunity to not only visit once, but twice.

I have hundreds upon hundreds of photographs of this place and here's the first of many I'm sure. The reason I posted this photo is because it's one of our favourite spots throughout the entire city. That's the amazing Belfry of Bruges on the right. On this visit I woke up twice very early in the morning to walk around and watch the sunlight and the city come alive. It was moments I'll remember forever.

Thanks to all my friends for all your support with my previous 99 photographs!

I appreciate the view and comments/critiques and faves are always welcome.

[piXit] Surprise! - Pose Pack

Pangasinan, Philippines

One hundred years ago on the 21st of April, out in the waters around Spivey Point, a small clipper ship drew toward land. Suddenly, out of the night, the fog rolled in. For a moment, they could see nothing, not a foot in front of them. Then, they saw a light. By God, it was a fire burning on the shore, strong enough to penetrate the swirling mist. They steered a course toward the light. But it was a campfire, like this one. The ship crashed against the rocks, the hull sheared in two, masts snapped like a twig. The wreckage sank, with all the men aboard. At the bottom of the sea, lay the Elizabeth Dane, with her crew, their lungs filled with salt water, their eyes open, staring to the darkness. And above, as suddenly as it come, the fog lifted, receded back across the ocean and never came again. But it is told by the fishermen, and their fathers and grandfathers, that when the fog returns to Antonio Bay, the men at the bottom of the sea, out in the water by Spivey Point will rise up and search for the campfire that led them to their dark, icy death.

B♭ (B Flat)

A Novel by Mitsushiro Nakagawa

“Synopsis”

A Palestinian group from Gaza hacks into North Korea’s cryptocurrency system, stealing hundreds of millions of dollars. Their true goal is not money—but to recreate the lost homeland of Gaza on American soil.

Amid the backdrop of hardline Republican immigration policies and a growing wave of xenophobia, a quiet plan begins to take shape: the gradual collapse of America from within.

During a speech at Madison Square Garden, Republican presidential candidate Justin Bradford is shot. Almost simultaneously in Los Angeles, former president Owen Reed is attacked at a rally for Democratic hopeful Ryan Bennett.

Two assassinations—mirroring one another—ignite a nation’s deepest divide. Yet, against all odds, Justin survives. His blood type is one in 2.5 million: the Bombay Blood Group.

The only person who can donate such blood is Anaya Patel, a community art facilitator working in Brooklyn. Her blood, stored in the Bellevue Hospital Blood Bank, is used for an emergency transfusion that saves the candidate’s life.

Jack Vance, an agent of the U.S. Secret Service, suspects a Gaza-based network behind the attacks. Together with Cameron Bartlett, the FBI Director of the Los Angeles Field Office, and Veronica Reeves, a senior investigator from New York, he begins to uncover a vast conspiracy.

Their investigation leads them to Rafi Gannam, a former architecture student at the Islamic University of Gaza, who has infiltrated redevelopment sites across Los Angeles and New York—embedding C4 explosives deep within beams and structural cores.

His targets: new residential districts where agents of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) live—symbols of “the order America built.”

Veronica urges the President to pursue dialogue to prevent further destruction, but President Grant M. Ranford refuses to listen.

Meanwhile, the recovering Justin and his Democratic rival Ryan appear on national television, calling for unity beyond political divisions.

Their words of reason, however, are drowned out when Grant takes the stage in Iowa, defiantly declaring: “We will never bow to terror.”

Among the crowd, Rafi’s operatives have already taken their positions.

As chaos erupts and the stage collapses, Amir Nasser—once Rafi’s comrade, haunted by the memory of his sister’s death in Gaza—tries desperately to halt the chain of destruction.

But Rafi’s conviction remains unshaken.

Under the twilight beneath the Williamsburg Bridge, amid the city’s fading noise, the two men part ways.

It is the boundary between prayer and vengeance, between hope and nothingness.

B♭ will be released worldwide on February 29, 2026.

Recently, director Ridley Scott remarked that streaming films and series have become dull.

I agree.

If you have two hours to spare for such stories, I ask for only two minutes of your time.

Two minutes with my novel will outlast those two hours.

I am confident of that.

Stay tuned.

 B♭ (ビーフラット) ……. Mitsushiro Nakagawa

Hundreds, literally hundreds. Marvelous Dragonflies on the edge of the Coconut Palm Plantation at Setangi. Here's one caught alone on its perch, to which it regularly returned. Lovely to watch. I think it's a Potamarcha congener, but I a may be wrong. Please correct me if that's the case.

Alfred Russel Wallace (1823-1913), that great naturalist and friend of Charles Darwin - indeed, he of The Wallace Line - writes about his stay on Lombok in 1856. From The Malay Archipelago: "Every day boys were to be seen walking along the roads and by the hedges and ditches, catching dragonflies with birdlime. They carry a slender stick, with a few twigs at the end well anointed, so that the least touch captures the insect, whose wings are pulled off before it is consigned to a small basket. The dragonflies are so abundant at the time of the rice flowering that thousands are soon caught in this way. The bodies are fried in oil with onions and preserved shrimps, or sometimes alone, and are considered a great delicacy."

I didn't see any catchers of dragonflies, but only of grasshoppers for fishing bait... Moreover, I have yet to taste Wallace's recipe and don't think I will!
