Waking up at Ocean Cove with no fog and beautiful sunshine was certainly a surprise. Finding this Anna's hummingbird 'pretty in pink' feasting on Mexican sage was a tantalizing vision.

This is a Juvenile Male who hasn't quite grown a full length tail yet. Seen in the gardens of Montezuma, Western Andes.

This Anna's hummingbird was working to reach one of the many blossoms on this bush near the Willamette River.

I think that this is a young bird. It has a white cap.

This tiny Volcano Hummingbird delighted us on the last morning of our October Costa Rica trip. This one is a female and spent lots of time at these beautiful purple flowers, it was impossible to resist taking lots of photos.
