We talk about human nature when it is assumed that man is
consists of specific characters, it can be neither bought nor change.
Human nature is the essence of man.
Human nature would relate to both qualities
physiological and spiritual rights.
Instinct is nature body. A spiritual human nature is more questionable.
Human suspension at a Tattoo Convention....not my kind of fun......Only reason i finally posted was cause many had asked what "suspension" is.... no way to really explain it......

We have put our stamp on this planet, for sure. Only for a while, though. Come back in 15 or 20 million years, and see a different planet. Iceball? Second Venus? Or a flourishing living world? One thing is certain. Not only will we never know what world we are leaving to the cosmos, but no humans will occupy it. We should be a little more humble.
The process of human development from conception to birth is illustrated in remarkable detail. In an early stage, called the “period of the fish,” the embryo is still limbless; in the “period of the turtle,” the head and limbs develop; in the “period of the pig,” the fetus is said to “consume unclean residues.”

On a very warm June afternoon, residents of Plainfield, a southwest suburb of Chicago, and surrounding locales joined together for a short march to celebrate Juneteenth and to raise their collective voice against what they perceived as racial injustice. The march began at Plainfield Central High School and tracked near the downtown area before gathering in Settlers Park next to the village hall. Once there, the remaining hour was spent in listening and reflection upon the words of people from the community, a religious leader, and local musicians. According to my best estimate, well over 300 people showed up, many with their families and young children.

12.11.80: Doncaster Rotters
I'd only been living in Sheffield a few months. I'd arrived at about the same time as the big local heroes the Human League released their second album Travelogue, and then split into two halves. The two musicians became Heaven 17. The other two retained the name the Human League. Apocryphally, lead singer Phil Oakey (who couldn't play an instrument) saw two teenage girls dancing in the Crazy Daisy, and asked them to join his band. It was probably just a chat-up line, but they became the third and fourth members of the Human League along with speccy Adrian, who'd done the slides and effects, and also couldn't play an instrument. They got some guitarist in from the Rezillos, and Adrian set about learning to play the synthesizer. This was their try-out gig at an exceptionally seedy Doncaster night club. Six months later they released the album Dare, and the rest is history.
We bought our tickets from Virgin Records at Moorfoot in Sheffield, and went over to Doncaster on the train. We hitched a lift back after midnight in the back of a van, along with a dozen other people. My main memory is of someone lighting a fire in the back of the van. We were dropped in Chapeltown, and had to walk the last six miles home. Ah, to be young again.
Both of the human hamsters return to their race. Clearly the pressure of running the society got to the President and Vice-President and they decided that being hamsters was much more fun!

My grandmother died last month. At the time of the funeral, I was in Port Angeles so I attended in spirit only (purely by chance, conversation with the Coopers that day fit in nicely with remembrance of my grandmother). However, yesterday I did attend the ash spreading. It was without ceremony of course and just attended by me and my mum. It's probably perfect for me. I say probably since I have never attended a funeral but I think this is more my kind of level.

This year’s Eat Drink Read Write festival is structured around the concept of a four course dinner and will serve up tantalizing offerings that appeal to a variety of tastes and audiences. The festival brings together food, culinary arts, and literature in an engaging format for the entertainment and enrichment of the entire community.
Appetizer Course: Human Library
Chefs, restaurateurs, food writers, and culinary school staff were on site at the Central Library to answer questions and provide brief mentorship sessions for attendees. This free program is modeled on the international concept known as the Human Library. The ‘books’ available for checkout included restaurateurs Chef Ryan Champion of Hotbox at Parkside, Marco Morosini of Silvertron Café, bloggers Jessie Merlin and Scott Doty of What to Eat In Birmingham, author Emily Brown of "Birmingham Food: A Magic City Menu," Chef Eryka Perry of Not Just Catering, and an instructor from Lawson State’s Culinary Arts program.
