Ya te decía ayer que la aparición del rayo verde tuvo lugar durante la captura de una circumpolar que estaba haciendo en una cálida noche de Primavera....
Pues aquí la tienes. Nosecuantas tomas de 3 minutos, diafragma abierto, ISO alto y a disfrutar de las estrellas.
La imagen de ayer con estrellas cuasi-fijas daba más presencia al bólido, pero esta imagen no la podía dejar en el tintero.
Además, la X que forma el bólido al cruzarse con una traza también tiene su misterio..... algún tesoro escondido, quizás?......

Photo taken this past weekend at a local farm photo walk. It was nice to get back out and take some pictures again!!
HDR created from 3 auto-bracketed exposures (-2,0,+2) with Nikon D90 and my Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens. Processed HDR with Photomatix 3.1, and made final adjustments in Photoshop.

Today I realised it's been a long time since I just played around with my camera/flashes; I haven't experimented just for the heck of it for aaaaaages. The entire reason I fell in love with photography in the first place was because of how much fun it is to experiment and sometimes stumble upon something cool by chance. So tonight I mucked around with my bubble machine, talcum powder, my flashes, cardboard tubes, glitter, and all sorts of other stuff. Haven't had this much fun in ages :D
So this shot: The thing on the left is a long cardboard tube stuck over my flash to direct the light to give that cool spotlight effect. There's also a second flash off to the right to give a bit of fill light. Then I took lots of shots of talcum powder in the air, stuck 'em together in Photoshop and Bob's your uncle!
Maybe not the most mind-blowing photo ever, but I had so much fun with the process! Sometimes it's fun playing around like a kid again. As adults we often tend to be so focused on the end goal we forget to have fun with the process along the way :)

Tic..toc.. after a photographer has helped with the dandelions seed dispersal. In case your wondering, that is a dandelion flower in the background... and no, there were no dandelions were harmed in the taking of this photograph!
Esplanade des Invalides: a new anti-CPE demonstration on the 23 turned even more violent than the 18. A couple of photographers have been beaten up by provovateurs, a few cameras stolen, and large riots erupted in different places of this huge esplanade. At least 3 cars have been burnt as well as part of a building.
Here, a fireman is trying to extinguish the fire still burning under the car. He won't suceed, and shortly after, the firemen will have to flip the car on its side to expose the reservoir.

No more mountains blocking your space to the horizon!
The unified design of a sim is created using a unique natural landscape. All Island with physics, so you can build at any place on it.
The landscape includes 4 flat platforms, a river, a waterfall, a lake, a beach place, a hills and cliffs.
The cliffs and the waterfall are presented separately, so that you can place them in any place you need.
Sim has 256 unique landscape textures, each 2048x2048 pixels in size. This creates the highest quality textures that do not blur as the camera approaches.
Sim-Island is good for sky and for ground.
This island sim is not an off sim environment – so you need at least 256x256m (sim) territory to rezz it.

I just got back from a trip to Sicily and this is one of the pictures I enjoyed the most taking.
It involved balancing on pretty sharp rocks, fighting (and losing) an epic battle against mosquitoes and spoiling a pair of shoes.
Totally worth it.

Stunning beauty of Erawan waterfall make any visitor want to come and see the wonderful nature and beauty of the Erawan National Park. Erawan waterfall is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand, it is derived from Monglai stream and dumps the hill at the height of 2,000 m and flows into Khwae Yai River. Famed for its impressive seven-tiered waterfall, Erawan National Park is a popular weekend spot for locals. Walking to the first three tiers is easy, but after that good walking shoes and some endurance are needed to complete the 1.5km hike. Bring a bathing costume as you will appreciate the cool water after reaching the top. Levels 2 and 4 are impressive, but be wary of monkeys who may snatch belongings while you're taking a dip. The wide pool of bright emerald water is fabulous for swimming. At each tier, you’ll catch a glimpse of the fish. Minnows like to hang around swimmers and pick at their dead skin; some might find them unnerving while others will enjoy the free fish spa. Erawan waterfall has a large limestone cave called Wang Badan located in the west of the park. There are many stalagmites and stalactites colorful inside the cave. Around 80% of Erawan is forest, and many of the park's various trees can be seen along three nature trails, which range from 1 km to 2 km. Bird-watchers try to spy hornbills, woodpeckers and parakeets from the camping areas and observation trails. Tigers, elephants, cobras and gibbons also call the park home.
This waterfall is located in the lush forests of the Erawan National Park. To visit this waterfall, visitors must go through a tortuous path with very attractive scenery. Just over a kilometre at the fourth tier, features a splendid swimming hole surrounded by boulders suitable for lounging. The highlight here is a natural water slide that shoots you several metres down smooth stone into water that strikes a darker shade of emerald thanks to overhanging trees. In het gebied leven veel vogels, reptielen, tijgers en olifanten. De belangrijkste en mooiste attractie van het Erawan National Park zijn de Erawan watervallen. Deze watervallen bestaan uit zeven trappen. De verschillende trappen zijn te bereiken via een avontuurlijk pad door de jungle. Onderaan iedere waterval is een kristalheldere poel waar je met het blote oog vissen ziet zwemmen en waar je een verfrissende duik kunt nemen. Middenin een dichtbegroeide, groene jungle, zagen we over de rand van verschillende rotsblokken helderblauw water naar beneden stromen. Het water komt uit in verschillende terrassen, waar je de bladeren op de bodem ziet liggen en de scholen vissen voorbij ziet zwemmen. Een java-aap keek vanaf een afstandje mee vanuit een boom. Yup, dit is het paradijs! De hoogste waterval bevindt zich na een hike van ongeveer 1,5 kilometer; wat een klim is van zo'n 1.5 uur. Het begin van het pad is goed aangelegd daarna eindigt het pad en wordt de klim over bruggetjes, rotsen, kleine watervallen en trappetjes steeds uitdagender. Trek dus goede wandelschoenen aan. Het wordt ook steeds mooier. We kwamen langs watervallen met natuurlijke glijbanen, waar Samantha en Biejee met alle plezier vanaf gleden. Ook waren er watervallen met schitterende, witte kalkafzettinggen tegen de rotsen en bomen, waardoor het water een melkachtige, blauwwitte gloed kreeg.

Ey Allah'ım, Senin dostlarına, salih kullarına, Peygamberinin yolundan gidenlere yardım et.
Ey Allah'ın Yahudileri ve mü'minlere karşı onların yanında yer alanları sana havale ediyoruz. Onları, kâfirlerden geri çevrilmeyecek olan şiddetli cezana maruz eyle.
Ey Allah'ım, onlara karşı ilahi gücünü ve kudretini bize göster.Küfür askerlerini, Firavun'u ve Semud'u helake uğratan Allah'ım! Yahudileri ve mü'minlere karşı onlara dost olanları sana havale ediyoruz.
Ey duaları işiten Allah'ım, Gençlerimize, çocuklarımıza, kadınlarımıza ve yaşlılarımıza merhamet eyle, Ellerimizi sana açtık, sana yöneldik ve sana dua ediyoruz.
Ey Allah'ım, sen ilahımızsın, yücesin, halimsin,
Ey Allah'ım, sen ihlasla sana yönelen elleri boş çevirmezsin,
Ey Allah'ım Filistin ellerini sana açtı,
Ey Musa'yı kurtaran Rabbimiz!
Ey Muhammed'i kurtaran Rabbimiz!

Ey Allah'ım bize kötülük ve fenalık düşünenlerin planlarını kendilerine çevir. Onları kendi dertleriyle meşgul eyle.
Ey Allah'ım, bizi uyumayan gözlerinle koru.
Ey, gözlerin kendisini görmediği, yaratıkların kendisine ulaşamadığı, hiç kimsenin kendisini vasfedemediği, hiçbir şeyin kendisini değiştiremeyeceği, hiçbir şeyin kendisini korkutamayacağı, bütün incelikleri bilen, suların damlalarının, ağaçlarının yapraklarının sayısını bilen, üzerine gün doğan her şeyin sayısını bilen Yüce Allah'ım! Bizi şu içinde bulunduğumuz durumdan kurtar, bize bir kurtuluş kapısı göster.
Ey Rabbimiz, ey Allah'ımız, ey Rahman, ey Rahim, ey göklerin ve yerin düzenini koruyan,
Ey istekte bulunulanların en hayırlısı, Dua edilmesini emreden ve duaya icabet edeceğini bildiren,
Bizim de duamızı kabul eyle...
