Next, I cut out the 0.02" styrene sheet to back the walls. I left extra space on ends of each wall piece so that the other pieces would fit inside the paper walls.
Roll a centre and cut into the top to simulate individual leaves. Add single pieces to the outside. Two should be enough but you could use four or more.
add a pager motor by hot-glueing it to the belly of your spiderbot. one terminal of the motor will go to the top of the battery, using the insulated wire. the other wire will touch the body of your spiderbot to complete the circuit. make a hook out of a wire and use it like a switch.
This charger didn't have enough tension to hold the batteries properly so by bending the tangs a bit it fixes the problem.

I cut straight down with a hacksaw with the seatstay angled. This is all approximate - no measurement necessary.
The seatstay is a single taper 16mm - fairly thick walled.
Have an opening graphic that people can see when they walk in the room and know they're in the right place. Also, if you're smarter than me you might even get the date right, though this was a great conversation starter as people walked in to the room "...wait, you're going to Australia??"
Fry up the sandwich! I usually cook it open face with cheese and meat on one side, sauce and sauerkraut on the other. After it cooks a while then I slap the sides together to toast 'em up. The cheese may or may not melt.
The finished back. I added buttons to the back which adds a nice touch and it allows the straps to be angled a lot better.
I ran a continuous (decorative) stitch along the binding between the flags as well, because it meant I didn't have to keep stopping and starting.
Braze it up! This shot was actually taken mid-braze.
I make a nice fillet around the whole perimeter of the stay, and then go back and heat the flat face to ensure that some of the brass is sucked into it.

STEP FIVE: I used a second printout of my stencil to make all the buttons and joysticks the correct size. All buttons were created out of fondant that I tinted to match the buttons on the actual controller. All pieces were cut and shaped and left to dry overnight.
if you can find a small enough switch you can add that to the underside and connect it between the motor and the battery.
You can go ahead and unbutton yourself out of the trap of pins. Lay the bodice on a flat surface and with your tailors chalk connect the pinheads, then draw a line. This line is going to help us a lot. Make sure your fabric stays flat while doing this, so you dont accidentally take it in too much.
Measure the placement of your buttons and try to space them out evenly. Be sure to leave room for the skirt to be attatched.
