Now you are going to sew the "casing" you made for your buttons, closed. This might take a bit of manuevering because the buttons tend to get in the way. It might help to tilt your button when you go to sew near it.
Woooohhhoooo done with those buttons!
We are done with Piece A for now.
On fait cette première couture pour que le tissu ne glisse pas quand on fixe la parmenture après, sur la même couture.
Ensuite on peut surfiler.
Fold your fabric in half, right sides together. Lay your chair on top of the fabric and using a pencil trace the outline of the chair. The outline needs to be at least 1" larger than the chair. If your chair is thicker, you're going to need more than 1". If it has a defined, wide side, you're going to have to cut a separate piece for that. If you make the slipcover too big, you can always cut some off, but there's no solution for too small!
If your chair tapers like mine does (the bottom being smaller than the top), make sure not to make the bottom too narrow, or you won't be able to fit it over the wider top.
I use these flexible laundry baskets to carry some of my wet gear home. I then rinse and use them to dry my other bits of gear that are a bit more forgiving, like my back-up torch and fins!
Sand all lumber, wiping down with a damp cloth. Be sure to sand the corners and anywhere else that might be a snag-hazard.
According to the directions on the wood stain, give your boards several coats of stain, allowing 2 hours of dry time in between coats. Then apply at least two coats of Polycrilic sealer according to the directions, allowing to dry in between. This is a two day process!
I use a Gaggia Classic Coffee. Again, the grinder is more important than the espresso maker. The Gaggia Classic is a somewhat economic alternative to the Rancilio Sylvia (the deservedly favorite of many). I'd advise against getting the starbucks "barista". It's pricier than the Gaggia and not as good a product.
how to program and hook up a atmega168 chip as a minimal arduino, using the internal 8mhz oscillator and running at 3.3 volts:
Take a print-out of your desired image and (using a ruler) place a square grid on top. I used 1"x1" squares in this example.
It's also possible to draw a grid on the image using software, as I did.
