Used only the house lighting for this one. Sort of doesn't have the same drama that the one with my strobe has.
Futurist Theatre, Foreshore Road, Scarborough. The first time that I have taken the E3 into a theatre. The stage was being set up for the ballet that night, with the cinema screen removed to the rear of the stage. Not all the house lighting was on, giving some uneven illumination. The destruction was after a fierce battle to save the venue and was approved by just one vote on the council, who have lied and manipulated information for years to rid themselves of the building. Demolition is cost £4.2 million. Using that money to refurbish could have delivered a world-class, iconic year-round attraction that would have revitalised the seafront.

The earthquake and fire of 1906 wrought destruction on every facet of life in San Francisco, and the performing arts faced a crisis without precedent. In the destruction following the April 29 earthquake, however, the city lost all eight of its downtown theaters.
San Francisco gave high priority to the replacement of performing arts buildings as reconstruction of the city got underway. From 1906 until October 17, 1989, only the Geary remained in full-time operation as a professional theater. It has been cited as "the traditional seat of legitimate drama in San Francisco since 1910," the year of its completion and opening.
Bliss and Faville, one of the most prominent architectural firms in San Francisco, designed the Geary Theater. Construction of the Geary began in 1908, and re-opened on January 10, 1910. It was then known as the Columbia Theater, named after a theater at Powell and Ellis streets, that had been destroyed in the earthquake and fire. Following changes in management between 1924 and 1928, when the building was known briefly as the Wilkes, and then the Lurie Theatre, it reopened as the Geary Theater on February 6, 1928.
In January 1967, the Geary Theater became the permanent home of the American Conservatory Theater, which bought the building in 1974. In 1975, the Geary was awarded a place on the U.S. Department of the Interior's National Register of Historic Places and was named a landmark of the State of California and the City and County of San Francisco.
At 5:04 p.m. on October 17, 1989, disaster struck once again. During the Loma Prieta earthquake, the proscenium arch of the Geary collapsed, ripping a two-thousand-square-foot hole in the ceiling and crushing the front-of-house lighting bridge and the first six rows of orchestra seats beneath tons of fallen plaster. Miraculously, no personal injuries were sustained.
The Geary was closed; the American Conservatory Theater raised more than $28.5 million to complete the renovation and seismic stabilization of the building, in 1996. In addition to bringing the theater into compliance with all current city building codes, the reconstruction and renovation of the damaged Geary improved comfort and accessibility for theatergoers and brought state-of-the-art technology to the Geary Stage.

情人橋為單塔斜張橋設計，是以流線之彎曲造型與帆船之風帆意象相呼應，最初是為串聯港區兩岸交通動線而規劃設計，在92年2月14日當天由陳總統命名為『情人橋』，橋跨距約164米、橋面平均寬5米、橋塔高49米，港內常時水位水面距橋底高約12米，夜間有白色、藍色、粉紅色、綠色等四種燈光色彩變換，曾獲學術單位台灣照明學會92年屋外照明比賽，經評定為第一名優等獎，進而擄獲不少情侶駐足。情人橋上可以看到淡水漁人碼頭的全貌，每當夕陽時分，站在漁人碼頭的最高點，可以欣賞臺灣八景其中之「淡水暮色」及「觀音吐霧」，也可以眺望大屯山，並欣賞漁人風情，晚間燈光照明浪漫，搭配港區音樂，為遊客最喜歡流連之處。

Earth Designs Garden Design and Build were asked to created a landscape and propose garden design in London*. Here are the details of the project

The Back
The design draws on the angular and curved characteristics of the new build to create a space based on an art deco theme. Teaming angular raised beds with circular lawns we see this juxtaposition of simple shapes resonate throughout the space. As one exits the house from the main room to the left of the space, the door is flanked on either side by cubed railway sleeper planters. A four metre diameter circle of stylish Iroko hardwood decking serves as the main dining terrace. Ahead of this are two further rectangular railway sleeper beds at varying heights. Built into the higher and most distant is a stainless steel 'water blade'. This water feature, although simple, gives the garden the relaxing sound of falling water, as the water tumbles into a pebble covered reservior at ground level. Child friendly, low maintenance and fun, this adds an exciting dimension to the space.Behind this raised bed, before the bottom perimeter of the space, is a children's play area carpeted throughout with a thick layer of soft play bark for safety, and screened from the house by tall planting. The centre of the space is filled with a large circular brick edged lawn, which meets a smaller formal lay patio in Mint Fossil sandstone adjoining the breakfast room. This area, designed for a café style table and chairs, affords the user the opportunity to steal a borrowed view of the expanse of grass through the bespoke art deco inspired double metal gates at the end of the space. An added layer of security is provided by solid wooden gates on the inside of the metal gates, allowing the client privacy or a feeling of openness as their mood dictates.
The third area of the garden, separated from the rest of the space by another two railway sleeper planters constructed perpendicular to the house, features a circular trampoline set within a circular lawn. This lawn leads back to the house and is greeted by a further square sandstone patio in formal lay pattern. This multi-purpose area will be suitable for relaxation and dining, with the added advantage of providing a suitable surface for impromptu basketball sessions with the existing net. A further cube railway sleeper planter to the right of this area supports a fixed bench attached to the side facing the trampoline.
Decking steps lead upward to a final decked area to the side of the house, which also features a low storage area suitable for bicycles or children's toys.
The bottom right hand corner houses a 8' x 6' shed. The boundary of the entire space is a 1m high brick wall topped with Iroko clad fence. Each lawn is edged with brick which in places is wide enough to act as pathways between the various areas.
The planting scheme comprises principally plum leafed foliage with orange and yellow flowering perennials against a backdrop of evergreen shrubs. Where the two lawns meet, 2 x Cordyline australis will be positioned to tower above the space like palm trees.

By using curves and circles nestled between extensive planting, this design makes best use of the limited space in this garden. A snaking path, laid with Indian sandstone in a formal lay pattern and edged with brick in a 'soldier' course, bisects the beds and guides the visitor to the front door. To the right of the path a small paved circle features an Acer palmatum 'disectum' planted in the centre. A second small paved circle on the left affords the client the opportunity to display a statue or giant pot. A larger paved circle towards the middle of the left hand bed accommodates an arced fixed bench seat, constructed from rendered blocks capped with sandstone.The planting palette consists of hardy specimens with an emphasis on foliage. Architectural planting features heavily in the space, juxtaposing imposing Fatsia japonica with delicate Acers. A combination of evergreen and semi evergreen plants will intertwine with scented white blooms to give year round interest to the space. Two low planters constructed from sturdy railway sleepers and planted with Phormium 'phats black' flank the porch, helping to frame the entrance to the house.
Lighting in the garden comprises bright, high-beam uplighters to give a vertical wash across the front of the house, while horizontal mirror path lights to safely illuminate the users journey through the space. These can be coloured green or blue as preferred. The riser of the curved bench seat will feature a set of eyelid light, hooded to prevent glare to those seated in the area. To complete the design, a series of low voltage spots placed throughout the beds will impart a gentle glow to the garden while serving to highlight individual specimen plants.

Earth Designs Garden Design and Build were asked to created a landscape and propose garden design in London*. Here are the details of the project
The Ying And Yang Garden in London
The Back
The design draws on the angular and curved characteristics of the new build to create a space based on an art deco theme. Teaming angular raised beds with circular lawns we see this juxtaposition of simple shapes resonate throughout the space. As one exits the house from the main room to the left of the space, the door is flanked on either side by cubed railway sleeper planters. A four metre diameter circle of stylish Iroko hardwood decking serves as the main dining terrace. Ahead of this are two further rectangular railway sleeper beds at varying heights. Built into the higher and most distant is a stainless steel 'water blade'. This water feature, although simple, gives the garden the relaxing sound of falling water, as the water tumbles into a pebble covered reservior at ground level. Child friendly, low maintenance and fun, this adds an exciting dimension to the space.Behind this raised bed, before the bottom perimeter of the space, is a children's play area carpeted throughout with a thick layer of soft play bark for safety, and screened from the house by tall planting. The centre of the space is filled with a large circular brick edged lawn, which meets a smaller formal lay patio in Mint Fossil sandstone adjoining the breakfast room. This area, designed for a café style table and chairs, affords the user the opportunity to steal a borrowed view of the expanse of grass through the bespoke art deco inspired double metal gates at the end of the space. An added layer of security is provided by solid wooden gates on the inside of the metal gates, allowing the client privacy or a feeling of openness as their mood dictates.
The third area of the garden, separated from the rest of the space by another two railway sleeper planters constructed perpendicular to the house, features a circular trampoline set within a circular lawn. This lawn leads back to the house and is greeted by a further square sandstone patio in formal lay pattern. This multi-purpose area will be suitable for relaxation and dining, with the added advantage of providing a suitable surface for impromptu basketball sessions with the existing net. A further cube railway sleeper planter to the right of this area supports a fixed bench attached to the side facing the trampoline.
Decking steps lead upward to a final decked area to the side of the house, which also features a low storage area suitable for bicycles or children's toys.
The bottom right hand corner houses a 8' x 6' shed. The boundary of the entire space is a 1m high brick wall topped with Iroko clad fence. Each lawn is edged with brick which in places is wide enough to act as pathways between the various areas.
The planting scheme comprises principally plum leafed foliage with orange and yellow flowering perennials against a backdrop of evergreen shrubs. Where the two lawns meet, 2 x Cordyline australis will be positioned to tower above the space like palm trees.
