I
For profit I abandoned all standards of conduct,
and brazenly used deception to make my living.
I cared nothing for conscience or morals, nothing for integrity or dignity.
I lived only to slake my ever-growing lust and greed.
With an uneasy heart, I scrabbled in a mire of sin,
with no way to escape this boundless darkness.
The riches of life and transient pleasures
could not hide the emptiness and pain in my heart.
It is simple to write the word “man.”
But to be honest and trustworthy is harder than hard.
Who can save me from this abyss of sin?

God’s voice led me before Him.
Today I can follow God and expend for Him.
My heart is filled with sweetness from reading God’s words every day.
By understanding the truth, I now have the principles of human conduct.
Everything I do and say is by God’s words.
Accepting God’s scrutiny in all things makes my heart rest easy and peaceful.
No cheating, no deception, I live in the light.
With an open heart, I am an honest person, and I live out a human likeness at last.
God’s judgment and chastisement has saved me,
and enabled me to be reborn in God’s words.
I am forever thankful to God’s love and to God’s salvation!

Has anyone ever shot something like this not on purpose and not knowing how to repeat it?? All I did was convert it to B&W, sharpen a bit, why I don't know? and added a lil I don't remember :O The origional looked about the same except the flag had the R,W&B..I don't even know how to do all that layering stuff and all, but I thought this came out pretty cool for a mistake :)

While walking through Hingham, I was surprised to come across a statue of Abraham Lincoln. Turns out his great-great-great-great grandfather Samuel was one of the original settlers.

Normally, Marty and I will venture out together for a photo shoot. To be honest, I can't remember the last time I went out for a walk with only my camera for company - although this is something I used to do on a daily basis. I came across these flowers and fired off a couple of shots with a particular contact in mind. I was disappointed with the results on upload. Today I headed out again with my favourite lens hoping to get the shot I was wanting.
Although I do not know the name, these flowers remind me of pretty little butterflies - they seemed so light hearted in the sunshine ... and light hearted was the feeling I had the first time I investigated DevoPhoto's stream. He was somewhere through his 365 day project and I probably spent a good hour tracking through his pics - his antics just made me laugh, but also I really liked his photos while he is out and about in his neighbourhood.
This one is for you, Steve. I am so pleased that through Flickr, I have had the opportunity to "meet and get to know you" through your pictures.

An antidote and an injection of honesty against the Instagram selfie perfection generation. This is really who I am and how I feel. My early morning "Ali Shuffle" to the loo takes a bit longer until the pills kick in. It is a race against time! Until recently I thought of myself still as a young blood cutting a dash. I go to bed on Sunday and wake up on a day I think is Wednesday. I go to bed on Wednesday and wake up thinking its is Sunday. Fugit inreparabile tempus. No wonder I think it flies! I have a past full of regrets, and I try to pre-repair my future pasts by being more equable, more generous....more human in the present.
I will get dressed honest but I have to try and record my weekend away.
So makeup is done and already melting off looks like us girls will suffer with the heat today
Even my wife is complaining about it. The weather that is and not my makeup.
This may not technically or artistically be anything groundbreaking but I barely caught this moment as he was brushing her hair aside as I was altering my settings. I love these images that really show just how in love the couples are :D
