Eat your Heart out loves! To be honest this costume was fun to create but it used all my available layers that my slink hud provided and as you can see took away my normal tattoos. If you are in search of a heart with good gore appliers and animation with sounds look no further then Vista Animations. As for the eyes any black mesh eyes will work for this look.

The fine art of baloney detection, by Carl Sagan

What is the Evidence for Evolution?

To be honest, I've always thought that making horses pull carts full of people down blazing hot streets in the summertime here in Florida was cruel, and I still feel that way, which is why I've never taken a ride in one. Even the man was drenched with sweat! The horse had a bucket of water, and didn't seem particularly interested in it, which I found odd, as hot as it was yesterday, but it seemed to be distracted by something behind it, which made it keep backing up and turning around, much to the chagrin of the driver! At least this horse appeared to be young and in good health. Some I've seen through the years did not.

St. Augustine, for all its charm, is still a tourist trap! It's economy depends upon it, and these rides have been popular for decades. Seems to be no end in sight, although I'm sure I'm not the only one who wishes there was.

Last of the older images ..honest ......with the poor weather I have been unable to get out with the camera so I have been looking through some older images ...this one is adjusted slightly and cropped a bit more ..................

I'll be honest and say I was worried about her and the fireworks last night...... She went to sleep with the T.V. on slept through the chaos. I'm trying to teach her to pose for me so we can do a fancy puppy portrait. Natural window light in my office. She is sitting in the other office chair where she watches me work on the computer.

Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th.

Members of the Steam Railroading Institute tend to Pere Marquette 1225's valve gear after Sunday's northbound run of the Cadillac Limited. Its a noisy and filthy job, but its honest work to keep the trains we love running. The fall color tour train started in Mt. Pleasant and ran north along the former Ann Arbor Railroad mainline into the hilly and picturesque region of northern Michigan. 1225's return to the region was welcomed by many, railfans and the general public alike, so thank you to the SRI for putting on this excursion!

Washington DC

I was fortunate to travel to the East Coast with 8th graders for 18 years. We started in Boston

and ended in Washington DC. I'm working on a book of images from our trips.

The Lincoln Memorial is an American national memorial built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located on the western end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., across from the Washington Monument. The architect was Henry Bacon; the designer of the primary statue – Abraham Lincoln, 1920 – was Daniel Chester French; the Lincoln statue was carved by the Piccirilli Brothers; and the painter of the interior murals was Jules Guerin. Dedicated in May 1922.

Not what the 85mm is built for, I'll be honest...

It has been pointed out to me recently (on a couple of occasions…!) that I don’t ever acknowledge or say thank you for the compliments I receive on my posts. And it got me thinking…

I would hope that people realise it would be futile for me to acknowledge each and every comment I receive. And hopefully it is accepted that this is a two-way thing; my recognition of the comments is to continue to post and share my story. Ultimately, as I believe I have stated before, my reason for using this forum has changed in recent years; it is wonderful to learn that so many of you draw inspiration from my journey, and I am happy to continue providing an (honest) insight into my world.

That said, it is maybe rather poor of me to not say the occasional communal ‘Thank You’ every once in a while, particularly to acknowledge those of you who clearly take time to craft a heartfelt comment or relate my experience to their own.

And so, to put right that wrong, a BIG THANK YOU to you all.

I’ll keep sharing if you keep commenting (hopefully positively!). And I’ll even try to remember to acknowledge y’all every so often. How does that sound?

Cheers everybody

An unfairly derogatory caption, to be honest. The Jamaica Wine House, known locally as "the Jampot", is located in St Michael's Alley, Cornhill, in the heart of London's financial district in the City of London.

It was the first coffee house in London and was visited by the English diarist Samuel Pepys in 1660. It is now a Grade II listed public house (pub) and is set within a labyrinth of mediaeval courts and alleys.

It should be no surprise that an old place with such a name has historic links with the sugar trade and slave plantations of the West Indies and Turkey. There is a plaque on the wall which reads 'Here stood the first London Coffee house at the sign of the Pasqual Rosee's Head 1652.' Pasqua Rosée, the proprietor was the servant of a Levant Company merchant named Daniel Edwards, a trader in Turkish goods, who imported the coffee and assisted Rosée in setting up the establishment. The coffee house, which opened in 1652, is known in some accounts as The Turk's Head.

The building that currently stands on the site is a 19th-century public house. This pub's licence was acquired by Shepherd Neame and the premises were reopened after a restoration that finished in April 2009. Today, it features a wood-panelled bar with three sections on the ground floor, and downstairs an elegant restaurant.
