I'm liking having the D70 laying around with the 50mm on it. Although it doesn't do as well with noise (i.e. I can't bump it to 1600 ISO without problems), I like it.

Well that was what I wanted for a long time, a workplace. Where SarahAndrea Royce can work while Sarah Roth works, too.
This was Alex's homework (In German).
Liebe Boulder (hund) du bist ein toll hund und du helpst mena wenn ich bin troulich und du bist losdig in der mud und an maxwell das ist sehr lustig.
Which translates as:
"Dear Boulder (dog) you're a great dog and you help me if I'm sad and you are running in the mud and Maxwell's very funny."
Then, to emphasise their funniness, there's a picture of Boulder humping Maxwell. Maxwell is shouting about it.
I started taking a class last Tuesday night to learn how to knit a simple shawl. It involves doing a lot of yarn-overs which create openings in the knit fabric. These make me uneasy because I know if I make a mistake or drop a stitch I'll have NO idea how to reconstruct the stitches. Just need to pay rapt attention and count correctly!
Hard at work and it's only the second day of school! Wow kindergarten sure has changes since I was a kid! We didn't have homework it was basically a glorified day are! I remember playing in centers and stuff! One day our teacher even let us play with shaving cream on the table! Kids have it rough now days! LOL! 365kids/29
Daddy is out of town for work, but he can still FaceTime for math homework. Funny - she was facing the iPad with her back to me, and when she saw me raise the phone, she move to a better spot for the photo. I think I trained her too well.
'transcribe short messages in the same manner as commercials are', a homework spotted on a 10 y.o. student who was having trouble with it while i was shooting in the gipsy village...
i don't agree with pushing the kids to watch commercials on TV in the first place. taking account he's coming from an extremely poor family I think it must be very frustrating...
I have my fabric all pressed and cut into strips to prepare for class with Jacquie Gering tomorrow! She is teaching machine pieced hexagons for the Minneapolis Modern Quilt Guild.

This cost me almost a tenner, and the cutlery shouldn't have been in the background - it was useful with some of the shots I had at a shorter focal length but isn't useful here. Anyway, blue curacao and lemonade, creme de menthe and lemonade, cherry brandy and lemonade. IMO the blue was the best, closely followed by the red, with the green still quite nice.

Ollie and I go to our 2nd Flyball class tonight. Here we are working on our "tug" homework.
Flyball is a relay race of 4 dogs per team. They run over 4 hurdles, then hit a box with their front feet, releasing a tennis ball, which they must grab and take back over the hurdles. It's incredibly fast-paced, the dogs are absolutely crazy and very very loud. It's a high-energy experience for both dogs and their owners. We'll see how competitive Ollie is! And if he is smart enough to make it through school!
We did have a little mishap yesterday...he let go of the tug toy and I oh-so-gracefully punched myself in the face.
Today's homework assignment had Liam sitting under a tree investigating the bugs, animals, birds, and plants he found there.
