Now that I see it up, I don't think I like the 'silver' exposure in the camera bag app.
Our oldest son has Autism. To call his meltdowns "fits" does not do them justice. We are in a much better place now, but when he was little it was rough. He was not spoiled, not bratty, not mean. But he reacted to things others might consider "little" in such an explosive way, that we were definite head turners wherever we went. Now, here he is. Sitting at the table alone. I'm not having to sit beside him, to bribe, threaten or wheedle. He is doing what thousands of other kids are doing. And they are all hating it. But he is doing it. He's in the ring, with his head up. No complaining, no tantrum. I honestly wasn't sure we would ever be here... But we are. He works so incredibly hard. And I am immensely proud of him.
First homework in her new preschool classroom: "Find pictures of four things that are red" and label them. I did the cutting (scissors are In Timeout right now), she did the writing over pale lines I gave her to trace from. Except the RED on the line; she did that herself with no exemplar.
The little one was sick and stayed home from school yesterday. But that didn't excuse her from doing her homework. :)
took my daughter Maddie to a national choral performance this week in Oklahoma. She got out of class but she did not get out of homework!
I am one of those "mean" dads.
For the next photography class we have to take 2 portrait shots of either a human or an animal. One of them with a shallow depth of field (ca. f5.6), the other medium to long dof (f8-16).
This here is f5.6.
Liva is a willing model, but never for more than 5 seconds, so that I have no time to check that everything is as and where it should be... (perhaps the eyes ought to be a little higher in the picture?)

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told Sarah how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had. Then I found one more in the back room, and several people were fighting over who would get it. Sarah's picture does NOT show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Liebe Boulder (hund) du bist ein toll hund und du helpst mena wenn ich bin troulich und du bist losdig in der mud und an maxwell das ist sehr lustig.
Which translates as:
"Dear Boulder (dog) you're a great dog and you help me if I'm sad and you are running in the mud and Maxwell's very funny."
Then, to emphasise their funniness, there's a picture of Boulder humping Maxwell. Maxwell is shouting about it.
