Haven't been shooting photos for a while. Haven't been surfing web for a while....actually I have but not for leisure.

Science Homework: Diffusion Practical - The glass on the left started with clear water, and the glass on the right a coffee solution. Coffee solution was gradually added to the clear water.

The lens is broken and does not focus properly. Yet I have been shooting a whole documentary project with it as it interestingly gives a soft focus look resembling a Polaroid/Pinhole/Autochrome combination. So I am keeping it.
He was as proud as can be that he had homework for the very first time. I know that feeling won't last... :)
Alexandra's first pieces of homework were a real struggle. But then again all she was asked to do was colouring, and in the immortal words of one of her knowledge-hungry school friends " if it was just to do colouring I might as well have stayed in preschool".
Thankfully now she has to do letters and numbers, she does her homework diligently and conscientiously - even the colouring elements.
Long may it last as she will have homework to do every single day for as long as she's at school....

This is from a stopmotion about homework I was making, but during it my camera developed some pretty huge focusing problems causing me to get really frustrated. The end result was a short, non-smooth, mess of a stopmotion. I don't think I'll bother uploading it! xD

Behind the Lens Week 13: Out of Place. This is really late, sorry. It is finals week where I teach and I've been up late grading every night. I caught this picture while one of our students was painting a mural, and all his spray cans were lined up. My "out of place" is the pencil, not so much because it is out of place, but more along the lines of the Sesame Street song "one of these things is not like the other." I promise I will do better on my homework this week, says the teacher.
