poor kid...5 years old and getting homework

Big homework night tonight. For me, several chapters for my Photojournalism class. For the dogs, first night of intensive training to correct an escalating resource guarding problem. Actually, Oscar is the one who's having the worst guarding problem, but Lucy (trying here to be professorial) is always the instigator. So after reading about news photographers, I need to read through this training book for dogs. Hopefully, with Lucy taking notes.

(By the way, Oscar was in Puppy Guantanamo for the taking of this picture as he'd just had a big episode over a rawhide bone.)

I had to bug her while she was doing her homework....fortunately she doesn't mind her picture taken.

What am "homeworks", Carol?

This is Jenny's new room. She is living in the White House. It is this house across the freeway from Trinity, so it is just a five minute walk to school.

Daily info, homework, and agenda posted on white board. I use the old "Vis-a-Vis" overhead markers to draw the lines and put in the headings. Then when I erase the DRY-erase marker, the lines and headings stay put. Once in a while, I use cleaner to erase the whole thing and then redo it to tidy it up.

Notice no homework listed for math/science yet, b/c other 5th grade teacher teaches that and the kids help me fill that in when they get back.
