One of the things I never understood about school was Homework, I hated doing homework.
Yes some people say that it is needed to really learn, but is it?? is that doing something a thousand times really a better way to learn??
Isn't it learning by repetition?? Instead of learning by understanding.
So I always thought homework was the most pointless and stupid thing ever. That was until high school, then I still thought homework was a stupid thing, but a stupid thing thatcame with economic benefits. Specially Math homework.

Una de las cosas que nunca entendi sobre la escuela era la Tarea, Odiaba realmente el hacer tarea.
Si, ya se que mucha gente dice, que es necesaria para realmente afirmar los conocimientos aprendidos, pero en serio lo es?? Es hacer algo mil veces realmente la mejor forma de aprender??
Es aprendizaje por repeticion?? En lugar de aprendizaje por entendimiento.
Asi que siempre pense que la tarea era la cosa mas inutil y sin sentido en la escuela. Al menos hasta la preparatoria cuando le encontre un beneficio economico, Sobre todo a las tareas de matematicas.

It is now eight years since I taught middle school science--where has the time gone?--but it's great to see that my impact on the curriculum continues. This is a lab I used in my classes all those years ago, and now that my daughter is in middle school, she is doing it. (And I got to help/supervise the work at home.)

My son and my wife work on their homework. My son's in middle school; my wife is working on a graduate degree in clinical psychology.
Does it ever end? I don't mind school, much and I normally do very good in it. But for some reason this trimester my grades are piss poor and not as good as normal. Along with my procrastinator level has hugely sky rocketed. I need to kick it into high gear, the end of this trimester is soon and I need decent grades [decent things above a C-] so I do not yet yelled at or worse grounded from the internet. . . but when I have kids it'll be about how much you try and your effort, not some crazy letter grade.
