This is how mad you get after trying for hours to tear off old wallpaper behind the heating elements.
Spent a long day fixing stuff. I stained and polyurethaned the new threshold. Then I installed additional electrical outlets and phone jacks.
Remmy helps us with the house by getting into joint compound dust (see smear on cheek) and crawling around beneath the paper on the kitchen floor as I paint. It was kitty crazies all day — until he zonked out, exhausted, in the studio about 2:30. He didn't wake up 'till the next morning.

A little explanation: When we bought this house, the garage wall was bowing. We thought it was because there were no drainage holes in the driveway retaining wall and the giant 3 foot thick concrete "porch" sinking and pushing on the house.
Now that we've been here a while and fixed some of those problems, the garage wall seems to have subsided a bit, but the water is just as bad as ever. The problem now is that the basement walls were never addressed for over a decade - and then they were drywalled over and covered by Monkey Family. So now those walls are pretty much ruined.
This is going to get costly very quick.
