From our Christmas 2022 trip to the California coast and Highway 1.
Uncle has been driven along the Pacific Highway one month ago. When we arriving here it's about 4pm and we were rushing to Big Sur for the night. Uncle stopped by the corner, as we looking back, it's "wow" time...
Photographing the highway I love driving on. In case you are wondering, the light trail across the frame is left there by the cable car.

Ancient Highway (Deal end).
Between the Cinque Ports Gold Club and the hump in the road (ie before the Chequers) I saw 3 coveys of grey partridge (11, 8 and 5 strong) and I was told there was another 5 near the Chequers. 4 were also on view near Dickson's corner. This is by far the most I've seen in several years.
