So yeah - I did get the camera modded for time lapse shooting, and got a windscreen mount for it.... I'll be boring you now with all the time lapses!

As you drive through Zion National Park you see these beautiful cliffs all along the road. Photographed this view during our visit in the Spring (May) 2018. With this shot I used the Sony A7RM3 with the Sony FE 16-35mm f/4.0 ZA OSS lens. This was a handheld shot at 1/1250 sec a f/4.0 with ISO 100. Post processing with Adobe Lightroom Classic and Luminar 4.

U.S. Route 89A is a north–south auxiliary U.S. highway, though its actual direction of travel is more east–west. The highway is an old routing of U.S. Route 89 from Bitter Springs, Arizona to Kanab, Utah. The state of Arizona has designated this highway the Fredonia-Vermilion Cliffs Scenic Road. The highway is used to access Grand Canyon National Park and is known for the Navajo Bridge. Until 2008, the Utah portion was signed State Route 11.
The highway's southern terminus is at U.S. Route 89 south of Page, Arizona. Its northern terminus is in Kanab, Utah, also as US 89. US 89A runs near or through Lee's Ferry, the Navajo Bridge, Vermilion Cliffs, the Kaibab Plateau, and Fredonia, Arizona. The eastern portion of the highway runs through part of the Navajo Nation. From Jacob Lake, State Route 67 leads south to the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. Then north to the neighboring cities of Fredonia, Arizona and Kanab, Utah.

One of our very favorite regions in California is the drive along the scenic Highway 1, which begins at Santa Cruz (Cabrillo Highway) and runs all the way to Southern California near Santa Barbara.
We were so fortunate to have made this trip just before Christmas, when the weather was mostly clear and highway travel was good. Now, as I share this story, I am truly saddened to see the severity of the storms that have battered California in the past two weeks. As a result, Highway 1 has been severely impacted and flooded and closed in several regions for the foreseeable future.
Here is a recent story (January 10) regarding the impact of the storms.
Como podéis ver, esta tirada desde dentro del coche y sin editar..... queria compartirla con vosotros, tal cual.
Gentoo penguins commuting along the 'penguin highway' on Sea lion island, Falklands. The path is formed by generations of penguins making the trip from the beach to the colony which is home to thousands of breeding gentoos.
