Highpoint II is the second Lubetkin building in the same style as the more famous Highpoint I. It was completed on an adjoining site in 1938.

One more view down the Portal to the Alabama Hills and the Inyos in the distance. Lone Pine, where we stayed, is just over those hills in the foreground. And, in contrast to the summit, it's around 100 degrees there.
