This is one of the exhibition rooms within the 180 Studio gallery. They have just opened a new exhibition of the work of Gabriel Moses Selah. The exhibition runs till 27th July. It consists of 70 photographs and 10 films with a few sculptures thrown in for good measure. Pumping music throughout. A lively exhibition I can recommend. It could be seen at the same time as the Sony World photography awards exhibition at Somerset House just down the road, that will be opening shortly…..
For me, I saw this exhibition just before going to the Goya exhibition at the Courtauld Gallery which is close by. They could not be artistically further apart! I think I was still vibrating from the music of the first exhibition…..Couldn’t be clearer for me. I will be revisiting Gabriel Moses Selah!
Have a good day out there…..

Took me right back to my art college days.

High contrast in the tree tunnel (II), cycling Point Reyes with the infrared. Amazing how IR smooths out images that wouldn’t work with a normal camera.

Here's a high-contrast image captured on the street in which a beam of shadow separates a lady's face from her hair. :)
I used my kit lens, the M.Zuiko 12-50mm f3.5-6.3, for this.
Sorry for the long-ish absence, I've never stopped taking photos, just so's you know! ;))
See that face? Well I pulled a similar face when I was told it would cost £650 to bring my front door up to current fire regulations.
Stuff that, I thought, I sourced the parts for £60 and then proceeded to dust off my DIY skills. Let’s just say there was a lot of sweat and cursing involved. The last time I actually did some DIY was back in the mid 70s 😂
