Recently mother nature has changed the landscape here. lately I've been reminiscing from a weekend trip i did earlier in the year such a beautiful and amazing place. See more photos of that trip on my facebook page.
Took this photo on a brisk and beautiful January 2018 day right before sundown. The canyon walls create immense, graphic shadows at late day. I was blessed to find this spot where the last rays of sun were reflecting off winter's bare trees, creating an unusual Grand Canyon composition. Sometimes high contrast can be a positive, albeit difficult to photograph.
This has had no enhancement and is a good record of the strong light at the time. It was taken in the evening at 8:44pm and there was still a lot of daylight to come. This was again taken near to where our digs were. Not sure this helps tell where our location was.
