We managed to take a trip to Montserrat on Sunday and spent a few hours in the beautiful mountains and at the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey ~ it is a Benedictine abbey located on the mountain of Montserrat ~ the architecture and sculptures are so beautiful.

This is one of the walls displaying Jesus and the 12 Disciples.

Like most kids, Lewis plays for "too long" on his iPad ~ he's not overly bad but better to get out and about than playing all those games!

I asked him the other week if wanted to learn chess and that was a BIG yes so I bought a chess set and now we might be playing "too long" but it at least he's not on the iPad, so much!!

Having returned from a lovely vacation I had lots to do in the garden although I had managed to get to the gym in the morning.

Finished what I wanted to get done in the garden and then it was time for some peace and quiet .... a few chapters of my current book that I'm reading! Love it when it's so quiet now I'm off to collect Joshua from his nursery school so that peace and quiet will soon be broken!!
