I didn't know this guy was going to do this, I was just shooting this boat, the High 5, as it pulled up to the fueling dock.
Sometimes I just get the timing right. Pillar Point Harbor, just north of Half Moon Bay, California.
This is a 13th century fortified structure built as a defensive measure against the Vikings who raided, settled and controlled much of the North of Scotland between 800 and 1266 .... it still stands tall and proud, today!

I went for a long, long walk this morning and this was as far as I got before turning back homeward bound .... it was starting to get a little cold!!

Believe it or not we have had another horrible weather day! I had to collect Lewis from school this afternoon and whilst waiting for him to a little detour!
When I parked the car I couldn't believe it when the sun came bursting through and we had blue skies - this last no more than 30 minutes. When I collected Lewis it was pouring down!!

Pitcher Ramon Ortiz of the Washington Nationals is welcomed back to the dugout after hitting the first Cardinals pitch of the 8th inning over the left field wall for his first career home run. Ortiz had held the St. Louis Cardinals without a hit for 8 innings, and the home run gave the Nationals a 3-0 lead.
I did golf this morning and it was freezing cold ... a real bitter cold breeze blowing from the sea didn't make it a fun round of golf but I won!!
