The old high seal window manufacturers building in Scunthorpe reflecting the surrounding area, it's made for for an interesting capture. Might go back at some stage to also try a star trail scene.

Balboa Park
San Diego, California
These apartments on the NW edge of Balboa Park (part of which is visible in the photo), San Diego's 1200-acre cultural park that is home to San Diego Museum of Art; several other museums, performance centers, and recreation areas; Arts and Crafts style mansion of George W. and Anna Marston, built in 1905 (photo in California album); and San Diego Zoo. Balboa Park, established in 1868, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 (77000331); Marston House also is NRHP-listed (74000552). (The buildings also are quite convenient to I-5, and no doubt command high rents.)

High Peak Optare Versa V1100 T23TYB (786) seen as it passes the war memorial in Charlesworth with the 12:38 394 from Glossop to Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.
Running by way of High Lane and Marple, the 394 is one of only a handful of services which High Peak operate into Greater Manchester. When the company was created in April 2012 it held substantial mileage in this area, however work has been lost and subsequently regained with the demise of GHA and Speedwell before being lost again. The 394 is a former Speedwell route and presently observes a two-hourly timetable on weekdays only with funding from DCC and TfGM after High Peak withdrew their hourly commercial service in early 2016.
For some reason, the 394 normally appears to be operated using a larger single rather than a Solo. 786 arrived at High Peak in June as Yellow Buses rid itself of members of this batch.
