Her husband deliberately left the chain long enough that she can lift one foot off the ground at a time to try and get some relief. That way he can enjoy watching her foot relieving techniques.

Next to the busy Philadelphia to Harrisburg Main Line, Strasburg Mastodon-type steam locomotive 475 comes to life at Leaman Place. The former Norfolk and Western engine is dressed as NW 382 for the day and a special photo charter to represent the bygone days of steam railroading in Virginia.

Mid-April....leaves not yet apparent
We saw two of these trees...the second one did not have that bulbous bit near the bottom of the trunk....it was also very large.
Park employees were not able to help us.

6M22 Hunterston to Sellafield skirts the coastline at high tide nearing journey's end 37 612 and 37 606 are in charge.
This was taken just a few yards from where we stayed in Norfolk. This area is usually used as a car park for the sailing folk. There were very high tides the week we stayed and I thought this one car looked so lonely.
Nice big.
Superman fights with his fellow Kryptonian, General Zod, among the clouds and skyscrapers of Superman's home city of Metropolis. Civilians watch stunned as a large man flies through their window in the middle of their conference over the delegation of new printers throughout the different sections of the office!

For the second week in my 52 weeks project, the challenge was to create a portrait of somebody that tells a story about them without showing their face.
Hopefully I have done that.
Technical bits.
This shot is essentially straight out of the camera.
Camera: D800
Lens: Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 @ f/2.8 and 165mm
Lighting:
- one Normal ML600 with some tracing paper acting as a diffuser fired at the background to blow it out.
- one LP160 @ 1/8th in a 26" Westcott Octa Rapid Box pointed straight down about 2' above the violin and about 2' in front of it.
- Triggered by Pocketwizard FlexTT5s
