My new year's shoot at High Falls near Delta, I was there earlier in the week and it was flooded it was better today and I think I got some good ones today!!

High key black and white portrait of a horse. Camino Real, Ajijic, Mexico. Self critique: On this trip, when I packed my camera I didn't realize that I had forgotten to take the wide angle lens (12 mm to 24 mm) off the camera and put back on my 'normal' 28 mm to 300 mm lens. After berating myself for my stupidity, my challenge was to explore photographic subjects that lent themselves to only the wide angle lens.

Following her full rebuild and sporting a five-bladed prop on her Rolls-Royce Griffon engine, racy looking Supermarine Spitfire LF.XIVe RN201 seen taxying out at Duxford sometime in the mid 2000's

Originally delivered to the Belgian Air Force as SG-31, she became G-BSKP after completion of the re-build in 2002

Then flying as RN201 until 2007, she was sold as N201TB in the USA

I took this photo because the word "Danger" on the switchboard matched with the sticker of a sharp-eyed girl.

onus of being very handy for The Stag Inn at Dufton. Some excellent beers including one or two excellent local ones - Helm Bar are always worth a try.

Only Monarch I saw and it was high overhead and heavily backlit. So rude of it. :) Had to take what it gave me, cropped quite a bit. Colors were off so just went rather high key for fun and a bit of an artistic effect...for me. Artistic I'm not. :)

Paid a quick visit to Pollinator Prairie, a small neighborhood park that was once a chemical recycling site but was cleaned up through cooperative efforts of Boeing and the EPA. It now has several small areas with dedicated flowers and plants to attract pollinators. Usually get much better photos, hoping to go back.

High and dry - The MV Dayspring sitting abandoned high and dry on Loch Linnhe, resting where she ran aground on the shingle beach following a storm in December 2011.

High Horses is by the Swell Season, and these horses were particularly high, crashing up these 40 metre cliffs. I always seem to end up getting very wet as the sea spray is everywhere. Another high pressure fine day today with no wind, so it's another day looking for adders.

A weekend trip to Bristol providing a great opportunity to capture the unique architecture, history and people of this great city.
