Knit this one tonight... these things are taking me longer than they did in the beginning. I still enjoy the process, however!
The bed cover measures 220x180cm, and weighs 4.2 kg. I used tolnai wool, and followed Attic24_Lucy's hexagon pattern with a little alteration.
My first real attempt at origami in about two years, it took several hours because wanted to do it from memory.
This is Eric Gjerde's stacking Hexagons Tesselation folded from a 12in hexagon cut from scrapbooking paper, I did a decent job but I need to reduce over-handling to avoid tearing it.

Well, such leaf shape belongs eventually to phyto-teratology, maybe I should call it veined mountain ?

Trying out a new technique of framed hexagons. A bit rough, but has given me some practice for another project that I want to get just right.
Created using my own variation on a Japanese pattern. Using 3.5mm hook and RYC Cashsoft 4 ply yarn - Pre blocking
...probably should have not used just the corner hexagon-diamonds, so that it wouldn't touch the ground.
Just messing with the focus. It's the fence to a chicken coop; Meg, Breezy and I were strawberry-picking.
An on-going project! It's been hiding behind the sofa for a while but there's a new baby due in February so i think it's going to be making an appearance soon!

Processed using Image Tricks Pro. This was an image of a disused canal, the bed covered with a thick layer of leaves. I changed the colours before applying the hexagonal pixellate filter.
