I don't do it as often as I'd like. But if I do give a hand at least once a day I'll be making some form of impact. Only desaturated because I'm self conscious [...surprise!] about my teeth even in bokeh.
Years ago I was taking photos at a day camp and saw this little girl being helped with some art work. She was having so much fun although it was physically difficult for her to complete the task. I don't know who she was but for some reason I always enjoyed this image.

Elementary students brought over 2000 non-perishable items during a contest to see which homeroom could bring the most items. Today some of the food items were moved by truck to the food bank. A total of 3, 159 items were brought.

4-H Clover College is a four-day series of hands-on workshops for youth presented by Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County.
In the “Happily Helping Others” workshop, youth learned about community service by doing hands-on projects for Holmes Lake Manor. They made reusable meal tray liners and friendship baskets with flowers and inspirational quotes. Instructors: Jen Smith and KayCee Wanser, 4-H Volunteers.
In Nebraska, the 4-H youth development program for ages 5-18 is part of University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension. Learn more about Lancaster County 4-H at lancaster.unl.edu/4h.
