"My shaker has classic pig skin wrapped around it and lemon-heads inside
that show at the bottom of the bottle (just a fun color addition).
Tissue paper is around the top with ribbons. A chrome sticker was added
along with the AU Alumni sticker. "

Is the U.S. Backing the Hostage-takers, and if so, why?
At the U.S. Embassy where I went on April 13th to request help in finding a resolution to this ongoing Hostage-taking, not only did I not receive any help, I was not even given an opportunity to speak with an Embassy representative there in order to be able to convey my request to them in person.
In fact, before I could talk to the reception two Policemen were already there, creating a stressful environment, intimidating me and interfering with the process.
They later took my banner, attempted to prevent me from handing out leaflets to the public and at the end took me to the district Police station where I was subject to their unjustifiable humiliation and 4 hours of illegal detention before I was finally let go.
Is the U.S. Backing the Hostage-takers? You may find out here: 👇
Without outside help, my survival is practically impossible and they may eventually manage to starve me to death.
Please help. Donate, sign the Petition and Share.

Each week our local church accepts donations for the local food bank. With the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend here (Canada), it is extending it's hours for donations on Wed, Thurs, Friday and Saturday evenings to receive these donations. Whether you live in Gander, Canada or other parts of the world, I encourage you to help those less fortunate. There is no greater feeling than when you help others. It is indeed more blessed to give than to receive.
The students and graduates of Auburn University are accomplishing many great things and alumni around the world are exhibiting loyalty, excellence and success in their daily lives. Our goal is to combine these efforts and display the pride we have for the university by joining the Auburn family together for a cause and making a difference. Auburn Alumni in Action is a national service week—a chance for alumni to serve not only the university, but also the members of their own communities.

Angela Barrientos, Children’s Librarian at La Puente Library, sews face masks for LA County employees who are being deployed as disaster worker to homeless shelters or to provide childcare for health care workers in medical facilities. The librarians are following instructions from the Medical College of Wisconsin and using suggested materials and supplies.
Because there is a shortage of mask for people in the frontlines, LA County Library sent out a call-out asking for volunteers to sew masks. Approximately 100 people with sewing skills volunteered, and to 23 those people started to work at La Puente Library. By the end of their first week, they’ll create 350 masks. Once all 100 volunteers get stocked with supplies, they will produce 1,500 face masks per week.(Mayra Beltran Vasquez / Los Angeles County )
