Helping others does not have to be a Christmas thing. It can be a way of life – or a way of living. We don’t have to donate our time 24/7 but we can help in ways that fit into our lives. Helping others always make us feel better and it makes those we serve feel better as well! I...

Enduring Another Rainy Day Outside the UNHCR Office.

On Monday, April 03rd, 2023, while enduring day 240th of my 4th Hunger Strike outside the UNHCR office which I have been deliberately forced into for the 4th times in Greece since the start of my protest outside this UN Agency on March 21st, 2017, I also had to go endure another rainy day inside my shelter where I have been left without any help and support.

My dire situation still remains unresolved, and I have been without multivitamins, food and money for weeks again.

Due to lack of support, I have also not been able to shower and/or do my laundry for well over three months now.

I urge you all, whoever is watching or reading this to not be indifferent in the face of this barbaric atrocity and act now.

To give you a good reason why, today is me, tomorrow it might very well be you as well.

Do the right thing now. Donate, sign the Petition, Share and tell the press/media about this.

Any other help, moral or otherwise, would also be greatly appreciated.

Following-Up With the European Parliament in Greece.

On March 02nd, 2023, I went to the European Parliament’s delegation in Greece to demand answers to the following three major questions that everybody should be asking:

1) Why have they held me Hostage in Greece, seeking to starve me to death and won’t let me go?

2) What is their end game and agenda?

3) And what is the solution to this problem?

But they told me nobody is here, send us an email to request an appointment and come back again next week. But they didn’t respond to my email and when I went back next Thursday, they just called the Police.

Four Policemen in Black uniform who have first seized and later also damaged my phone then have begun insulting me time and time again without any reason.

The next day they called the Police once again, and this time I was being detained by them for one to two hours without any reason.

(Left to right) Angela Barrientos, Children’s Librarian at La Puente Library, and Blanca Arranda, Library Aide, are quickly sewing face masks for LA County employees who are being deployed as disaster worker to homeless shelters or to provide childcare for health care workers in medical facilities. The librarians are following instructions from the Medical College of Wisconsin and using suggested materials and supplies.

Because there is a shortage of mask for people in the frontlines, LA County Library sent out a call-out asking for volunteers to sew masks. Approximately 100 people with sewing skills volunteered, and to 23 those people started to work at La Puente Library. By the end of their first week, they’ll create 350 masks. Once all 100 volunteers get stocked with supplies, they will produce 1,500 face masks per week.(Mayra Beltran Vasquez / Los Angeles County )

I photoshoped this picture ( blurring most of picture to draw you in to the emotions on everyone's faces - and other effects).

My mom was invited to see a long time friend at her retirement party. My mom only knew about 3 people ( not in photo ) but she had everyone laughing. I was going to see if she needed anything ... and heard a very loud table of people outside... yep you guessed it. My mom is not shy and this photo captured the moment perfectly!

I am standing behind my mom ( FYI )

Requesting Urgent Help at World Peace Council (WPC).

Imagine a situation in which the people who are supposed to be your help and guidance not only do not do their job right, but precisely do the exact opposite and deliberately lead you towards calamity and chaos.

That’s the situation many Refugees in Europe, including myself, are forced to deal with when it comes to our interactions with a group of people and organizations who claim to be our help, but in reality are the exact opposite of that.

Which is why to get genuine help, we ultimately find no other choice, but to look for it in other places, sometimes even if they do not seem so relevant to our issues. For example, me, looking for help at the World Peace Council (WPC).

That’s where I went on March 30th, 2023 to request help. But as you can probably imagine they also did not offer any help.

Elementary students brought over 2000 non-perishable items during a contest to see which homeroom could bring the most items. Today some of the food items were moved by truck to the food bank.

Project KengiKat

Today my friends and supporters joined me for the last full-scale homeless outreach of 2016.

Today we made hearty and healthy bag lunches and passed them out to homeless individuals here in Hollywood.

It was a very warm day, but my team were complete troupers and did not complain.

I want to extend a huge thanks to all who donated and those who came out to volunteer their time to help make this outreach a huge success.

Next year, Project KengiKat, Do Something and Unplugging HIV will celebrate 10 solid years of grassroots community service providing an wide array of services to the homeless population, low-income families, Children, seniors as well as individuals living with HIV or AIDS.

Do donate or get involved, please visit www.dosomethingsaturday.org
