The knitting/crochet group for the homeless that I helped start last year had an article in the paper today!
I'm excited for the potential this has to increase what we're able to donate once it gets cold again.
If you want to donate yarn, needles, hooks or money please let me know!

This is my 1st attempt on using the pen tool with photoshop 3. I have watched a few videos ( on youtube ) and practiced. This is my first real attempt on doing the entire picture (instead of the eyes or face).
I hope you like. If you have any suggestions or know of any good sites that give detailed information please email it to me.
Thank you
Joe

I had the honor of volunteering my time and photography services to Harper Haven, a local non-profit organization in the Lancaster area of the Antelope Valley, which provides support services for women and families through their outreach "Hello Beautiful"
It was time well spent being encouraged and inspired by the amazing work this organization is doing with zero funding but a lot of heart, compassion and respect.
Huge thanks to my friend Sterling for making me aware and asking me to help out. Much love and respect to Levy, the founder, who welcomed me and allowed me to be part of this awesome event she created and to see first hand the amazing work she does for others.
